Gumnut Patisserie Mittagong
One of the best dessert shops in NSW. It is a must for anyone. The savoury are as good as the sweet, as reinforced by the several medals and titles they have won. Mittagong queues are much shorter than Bowral. The service is exceptional as always. I would highly recommend them, particularly for their raspberry tart, salted caramel tart and brownies.

Good coffee and pastries. A must stop when you drive past Mittagong. There is restroom facilities here. Large latte $4.50 and chocolate croissant $6.50.

The best place to stop at on a thunderstormy day. There's no seats, but by the time you've finished eating everything you'd need to walk around to digest.We had a lamb & rosemary pie, an Eden Brewery beef pie, a ham & cheese croissant, and the classic sausage roll.The croissant was sinfully good with the cheese and bechamel, very out of this world. The sausage roll was a classic with very flakey pastry, and the pies were delicious as well.Would very highly recommend!!

I drive past Gumnut Patisserie all the time and see people queued at the Bowral store. I decided to go into the Mittagong store today to see what all the fuss was about. I was met with a welcoming greeting and good customs service. I chose a Lamb and Rosemary Pie and a Berry Cheesecake. The pie was light and delicious, with the only downside being the greasiness of the pastry. The cheesecake was also light and delicious, as well as pretty to look at. I was very pleased to discover the sugar content was kept at a perfect amount. Not sickly sweet. I did wonder about some of the other treats, which is why I chose the cheesecake.

So many delicious pastries! Best ham and cheese croissant I've ever had, so crispy and cheesy. We went back a few times to try different things on our weekend exploring around Bowral.

Great selection of delicious pies and tasty cakes and pastries. Personally I like this location more than the Bowral store as there is plenty of parking and outdoor seating available. The staff were efficient and friendly. Will definitely stop by here again and stock up when we go through Mittagong. Highly recommended.

I've had pies from some of the most well known pie shops (the slightly overated Robertson, Berry and Appin, as well as interstate) and they do not come close to the pies I have had from here. The best pies by a mile. Their sweets and pastries are just as good. I have been multiple times and have never left disappointed. The line is usually pretty long, but they get through the order pretty fast. Multiple registers help.I travel one hour to get there but it's worth it.I'll be back.

Amazing cakes, drove from Sydney to collect a few for Christmas. The staff are amazing, one of the team even helped me bring the cakes to the car. Looking forward to our next visit!

Amazing customer service and easily the best croissant I've ever head. If you're keen for a quick bite, try the ham & cheese croissant ($6.50) and you'll see it for yourself :) obviously the sweets are the stars of the place, so you'll find a large variety in the display.

Sausage rolls are still coming all dried out and pastry puffed up off the meat. I keep giving them a chance and always end up disappointed. Pasties arnt much to brag about either.
