Northeys of Hill End
An absolutely faultless place to stay for the night (or longer) The apartment has been beautifully renovated with modern fittings. It is spotlessly clean and there is nothing you would want for. The bbq on the balcony is a great way to cook dinner whilst enjoying the stunning view of Hill End. The gas fireplace is perfect for cooler nights. The kitchen is compact but has every necessity. The bedroom and bathroom are modern and comfortable. If you love the Australian bush and countryside, Australian wildlife and Australian history and a beautiful peaceful quiet surrounding then I thoroughly recommend Northeys

Northeys of Hill End
A great stay at Northeys apartment. Full size fridge, cooktop and microwave in the kitchen. BBQ on the balcony, where there was also a table and chairs to enjoy the afternoon sun for nibbles and drinks. Excellent gas fire to warm up the living room. Only drawback was that the shower was over a bath and it's a bit slippery.

Fantastic pub with friendly locals and great food. A great piece of fairdinkum Australia, and well worth the visit to Hill End.

Shop down below has a lovely collection of historical items including a huge shelf of information on families who lived in the area. Some postcards, maps and historical books for sale as well. Only open 3 days a week, weekends and Wednesdays.

Lovingly furnished and decorated, right in the centre of town. Great little balcony for watching the sunset and all the kangaroos grazing

Northeys of Hill End
Wonderful accommodation in Hill End. Northeys was the general store here, built in 1873. Lovely balcony overlooks fields of kangaroos. Cosy gas fire, great little kitchen and modern bathroom. Comfy queen bed, television and lounge room. A really rare opportunity to experience some Australian history.
