Most dissapointing car i have ever owned. Have had major issues with it after 30 000 klms and Ford Australia has had my car for 6 months to repair it back and forth with the same issue. Gearbox overheat and change very rough banging and chuttering between gears. Ford Australia has been so bad during this process . Paying $76 000 for a brand new car should be a happy and pleasant experience. I am so dissapointed in my experience. I don't recommend the Ford ranger wildtrak to anyone.

Still fairly upset by what happened here. I sent an email to Ford Australia and it took one month for them to reply. When they did reply they just told us to get back to the dealer at Jackson Ford. We arrived in Tasmania with an idea of a fresh start. Looking for a used car around $22k we found one on the lot at Jacksons Ford. We entered the dealership and almost immediately were 'set on' by the sales manager. He said if you love the car then why dont you buy it? No offer of a seat or a drink and my partner was tired from walking. We were treated badly and looked up and down like we were homeless people( well, we actually are lol). We cannot get a loan because we have no fixed address and no employment. My partner has had open heart surgery at the age of 68. We had the money to buy the car. My partner told the sales manager he wanted to buy it without a test drive. The sales manager went to the car lot to get the information on the car and when he came back said that we could not buy the car - because they made a mistake on the price. I said we should be able to buy the car at the advertised price and he said ' nice people dont do that' and that if we tried to take the matter further it would not end well for us" I wrote to complain to Ford Australia and they said it was a matter between us and the dealership. They did not seem to care that the sales manager was rude and intimidating. What are your thoughts? Should they sell us the car at the price they had it advertised at? Should Ford intervene?"

My transmission failed in my ford focus sport over Easter. They taken their sweet arse time to get back to me. Then ask me to pay for a diagnostic on the transmission and I have to pay for it and as my car is out of warranty. They couldn't assist with offering a car. I'm without a car for this long its a ridiculous outcome. I'm disappointed.

I will never buy another Ford. The transmission in my Mondeo was faulty, they fixed it once, but only after messing me around for weeks saying they didn't have to fix it. They decided to fix once I contacted a consumer advocate group. Then 18 months later the 2nd transmission blew. They now refuse to repair it as their transmissions only have a 12month warranty. I'm stuck with this car in my driveway now.I hate Ford!

I have a 2017 ranger wildtrak great car until the first gearbox went ,then fix it ,but the gearbox oil was over filled and it cooked it self ,then you fix it and say its all right,6 months later the gearbox is broken again, then another new gearbox ,then six months later the engine blew us nearly causing a crash on the freeway with my family in it, then for the past four months you try and put a new engine in but then tell me that one broken aswell, so you get a third engine and rush to get that in.So in the last two years my ranger has been in the work shop for 7 months and your call centre has just put on to the next person and then the next.It time to take responsibility for your products problems. It has cost my small business a small fortune every time. But nothing will happen will it ford.

Terrible Terrible service I asked for a Vehicle Verification Letter for my Ford falcon bf mk 3 wagon to show how many of them were built and my car Identification to say what color it is etc. I called Ford and they referred me to call the Ford motor company. Iv called them many many times and they all hanged up on me because they couldn't understand English. So I called again one last time and it was a man with an accent speaking very quietly and softly and I thought he was speaking English but he was speaking to me in Indian so i just hanged up. And I just can't get through to the Ford motor company so I can receive my Verification Letter for my car. This is sooo humiliating and embarrassing by Ford and the Ford motor company of Australia. You should be sooo ashamed for yourselves by not giving customers and people a peaceful proper service cheers Mithat

Bought a new Ford Ecosport Titanium in 2014 and it had a major engine failure within warranty and then outside it as well. Now the compressor has failed. So far it’s cost another $10,000+ on top of the new purchase price to keep fixing it. This car just keeps having problems and Ford doesn’t diagnose them promptly or explain why their product is so faulty! The service staff do their best to be helpful but this has been the worst car experience I’ve ever had. Do not buy vehicles made by Ford, their quality control can’t be trusted and they won’t support you as a customer.

I have owned two ford rangers the first the transmission was replaced at 45,000kms, my second has just done the exact same thing. My second car had me stuck in the middle of incoming traffic unable to move gears. I have now been without a loan car for two weeks and ford are wanting me to somehow drive 2.5hrs to get a loan vehicle even though I am already extremely inconvenienced. This is the worst service I have ever received, I have been advised my car could be over a month which is understandable waiting on parts but it is completely unacceptable for me being the one to try and source my own car and constantly seek updates. At this rate it could be three weeks without a means of transport. I will be seeking further action if this is not resolved.
