Australia Post - Hopetoun Gardens LPO

Lady is always super sweet and down for a great chat. I have never had any problems and I have been coming here for years.

I purchased a prepaid parcel bag and signature on delivery. I tried to use it and Ebay said the tracking number has already being used by someone else. The lady at the counter just put my parcel as delivered returned to me and didn't give me the money back. She has not idea how to cancel the tracking instead just said it was delivered so It can't be used. I went to another post office and they said that tracking number has already been used. BECAREFUL. THEY SELL ALREADY USED ITEMS and you could loose your items in the mail. They are unhelpful and have not idea what they are doing.

Staff member repeatedly told a customer who was frustrated to shut up - and then told the customer that they were wrong - and later to watch his mouth". Justified having told the customer to shut up because its their shop. Absolutely appalling behaviour. Reflects extremely poorly on Australia Post."

I had a parcel sent to this Post office of which i was not notified and the delivery was not even attempted to be delivered to my works office.Ill also note that the text i received when the package was delivered there seemed to be a spam message, so i tried to call the landline which was disconnected (which arose my suspicion to spam)I received a call on a Tuesday which i missed (from a mobile) - Again that same Friday when we spoke and unfortunately i didn't make it in that same day.The following Tuesday my package was sent back before I had a colleague try to collect which was at 9am.The owner was quite rude to my colleague about the package being held.The woman on the phone stated they could only hold packages for 2 weeks by law - is this correct? and Frankly extremely rude about the whole situation.I also note from when i was notified by this post office it was only 6 days.The couple of interactions had with the owners of this post office were extremely rude and unprofessional.Good luck if your package is sent here...

Can't believe the customer service here ... Extremely rude ...if you see an old lady here, good luck! I will never come back

Very poor service. Went there and the computer didn’t work or he didn’t know how to use it to put in my international parcel. Gave it straight back to me without telling me that I was going to need to come back another day, casual and unconcerned, I had to figure that out, myself. Refused to call his internal helpline because they were overseas based and so they were no use. When I asked him if he would try anyways, he said “No, No” arrogantly. Very poor internet reception so I could not find the number and ring Australia Post helpline myself. Said he didn’t know the number for Australia post customer line and refused to look for it. Absolutely useless.

Awful rude woman who works here was instantly condescending and unhelpful and she got angry with me for wanting help with tape. Couldn’t be happier to walk out and use any other post office.

Says it opens at 8.30 on the door. Opens at 9.

Website says open until 5.30pm but closes at 5pm.

The worker was extremely rude to me. They tried to make me feel bad for returning items in the middle of a pandemic when I can't try things in person and have to order online. Told me I can return an item in a box after I offered to put it in a parcel bag, but then proceeded to tell me that it's not their responsibility if they don't tape the box correctly. They also assumed that I was drunk when I ordered the items, and told me to not order items after midnight again, which is completely not something I had done and is an extremely nasty assumption to make of a customer.
