Julian is a good, patient instructor and just an all around nice guy that just makes you feel comfortable and confident. I would definitely recommend this place if someone was interested in learning to dance.Prices are reasonable too.We'll let you know how our wedding dance goes!

Great for beginners.Being a lovely person, a great dancer, and a patient teacher doesn't instantly mean that you run a fantastic dance studio, unfortunately. Exhibit A: Body Beat Dance Studio.In my opinion, the biggest problem this husband-and-wife run dance studio has (at least in their group salsa classes--I have no experience with their other classes) is that they are a bit too accommodating. Which is fine as a personality trait, but not so great when there are multiple paying customers repeatedly and quite frankly unnecessarily inconvenienced by it! Someone hasn't understood a certain step? Class stops until that person is taken care of. Which would be fine as a one-off or an occasional occurrence. When class grinds to a halt repeatedly because someone with a grand total of five weeks dance experience has decided that he wants to take the advanced" salsa class to take full advantage of his membership and the instructors are too nice to tell him he's not ready it becomes a problem
