Michael's Pizza

Saw Google review was good, so thought we'd try it out. Super disappointed. Very rude staff, (I think he's the boss) completely ignores you as you walk in to pick up take away. No help at all. Then turns around and yells what's wrong" as I was picking up the pizzas. At this point we thought ok maybe the pizzas would be good

I have been coming to Michael’s Pizza for 15+ years. Cannot question the quality and taste of the pizzas, however tonight was the first time I had to bring a pizza back due to a topping removal request not being fulfilled. I called the restaurant after eating a slice and asked if a replacement pizza could be made as the topping was still put on the pizza. Was told on the phone they would make another however to bring the pizza in. Went in store to replace pizza when the owner, questioned where the topping was. When looking through the pizza I was told the topping in question was just a mushroom. I let the owner know that I may not be able to visually see the topping I could definitely taste it as it is a flavour that can’t be missed. Owner put his fingers through the pizza searching. With the statement of “well I can’t see it” quite rudely. I stated again that I could taste the topping and would like a new pizza or a refund. The owner stated he had made another pizza and I’d have to wait quite rudely. When my pizza was ready he quite rudely pointed to me and said “you, your pizza” and walked away.I thanked him for the replacement but I question why he thought I was wasting his time and mine. I could understand the frustration of having to remake a pizza but I think if the same scenario happened at any other pizza shop, a replacement pizza would have been made and no questions asked or the pizza taken under scrutinising inspection and accusations of it not being present when it could be clearly tasted due to its distinct flavour.This has questioned my long standing patronage to the restaurant. Over the last few years the service from the staff has unfortunately declined. Rude on the phone, rude in person and little care for building customer relations. Great pizzas but poor service.

Disgusting service manner owner was rude1 pizza and Greek salad for $43 ridiculous price. Wish you well to michael hope your attitude changes in the future for your business and customers.

Honestly... Let me start by saying I have had a fair amount of pizzas and pasta in my life. Tonight we dined in at Michael's Pizza Restaurant. We were greeted by a lovely waitress with a smile and who was very helpful with the menu.We started with a garlic bread which was by far the best garlic bread I've had, so full of flavour.We had a Supreme Pizza to start and finally we have a place that cuts their pizzas properly, puts a generous amount of toppings and the best thing is, the pizzas are huge.We had the Mushroom Spaghetti, Chicken Pesto and another dish which I have forgotten the name.All meals were made with fresh ingredients. You can really tell when they are and when they aren't.Parking is a breeze and they also have a nice simple desert menu.They are licensed so feel free to bring a bottle of Red or your favourite beers.

One of the best Pizza Places, cheap and heaps of toppings. Very very worth the trek.

Great little family owned restaurant. Food is very tasty and big serving sizes! Full of flavour. Easy parking. Good value for money.

Ordered menuelog delivery, meatlovers Pizza 5/5, lasagne 2/5 (tastes like a frozen one, no discernible individual care), Ribs 3/5 disappointing, very good meat but sauce lacking any wow, stewed not smoked and little to no smokiness in the weak runnysauce. The ribs were my favourite 30 years ago, these left me seriously underwhelmed but perhaps lost in my nostalgia. Meat was an excellent cut. Ribs are good, sauce is seriously lacking.

Such a shame!! Have been enjoying & supporting Michael’s for decades but unfortunately the severe lack of interest and rudeness from owner and staff is very evident in the food and overall enjoyment. Firstly their phone line is terrible- so don’t bother trying to call and place your order ahead of time (and they simply hang up on you anyway) Then when you try to place an order in store - they make you feel as if you are interrupting them (despite zero diners in store) Food was bland and tasteless (spaghetti- pizzas - ribs) Obviously something has happened - it was never like this previously and is such a shame! With much higher quality and service restaurants around - we won’t be back!!

This small pizzeria was really good. I can’t believe I’ve lived around the corner for 3 years and never been here before.Forget dominos and the hut.. support this local business and get a vastly better pizza!
