my isuzu ute brought new ,had a noise in gearbox from day one took them until 60000ks before it was fixed , then had 60000 service done which includes repacking and checking front wheel bearings less than 200ks later front wheel nearly comes off at 80kph front bearing wasnt locked off towed back to isuzu they said its not under warranty but as a goodwill gesture they would fix no charge , then when I get ute back within in 2 weeks brakes shudder ,told isuzu they say its from heavy braking but the pads are original ones tyres are same still have plenty of tread left so no heavy braking but if you only replace disc on oneside and not both then there,s a good chance it will shudder ! when brought in jan 2019 I was told 6 yr warranty 7yr roadside assist 7yr capped servicing now i,m told that my ute is 2018 model so 90000k service is not capped so for service and machine discus i,ll be up for over $1500,so I will go else were to have work done ,when I go to buy another ute I will go back to toyota the isuzu is a good ute but the servicing is a joke cap price service every service is different price and over the top like i said good ute but the rest let,s it down

Ordered our Dmax last July 21. Told we would have it by March 22. Planned a trip for July Aug 22 only to be told we probably won't get it until Oct Nov 22. Our friends ordered one in June and it's just arrived. We dont even have a build date yet. We have had to cancel our trip.Should we cancel the order as well :(

No courtesy cars available and long waits for repairs to be done under warranty. Not great for a warranty" a courtesy car should be automatically covered under warranty."

We have an Isuzu DMAX bought 2020, and even though its under warranty for 6 years, isuzu have never been supportive of any warranty related claims to the point of saying every time I ask that its not. (Squeaky brakes, filter replacements, suspension noises, brake line issues). Every time we have been to an Isuzu dealer for a service, there has been something wrong with the ute afterwards, or something not done or completed. We are full time travellers so have tried many Isuzu dealers around Australia. Once when a suspension specialist told us to go and get something checked under warranty we took it to Mount Gambier who charged us because apparently they couldnt find anything - even though there were issues and noises. Absolutely incompetent, didnt discuss potential costs beforehand, and they treated us very poorly. When I tried to inquire about this they just completely dusted their hands off and said its their policy. In Adelaide Isuzu we had a service and at the end we had a leak in the brake line and didnt even try to tighten it. They told us they did - then we went up the road to a more competent mechanic - not a brake specialist - who tightened it with an ordinary spanner and got us back on the road. We are told one thing by Isuzu (they have done this and completed that) but they dont or haven't. At Isuzu Toowoomba at their service we drive away with squeaky wheel bearings, went back and told them it was squeaky; they checked it and even though it was meant to be done at the service to regrease it, it was bone dry - they confirmed it. This same incident also happened at Adelaide. Why the one extra star? The engine has been reliable.Would I recommend an Isuzu or buy another? No.If their servicing was better, if I felt more confident about buying a new vehicle from Isuzu, I might reconsider. But in the last 2 years, we have been very disappointed.

if you are looking for a small truck with good dealer/ manufacturer back up stay well clear. being a small business we wanted great vehicles with great back up which we thought Isuzu would offer and have since purchased 6 trucks. WRONG at 50,000 k one of our fleet now has an injector issue....3 weeks on they are still trying to prove its not there fault even though its always had very expensive factory servicing with genuine filters. Who can afford 3 weeks without a truck. Very DISAPPOINTING

I understand with the current issues going on around the world the last 2 years that this has caused delays with a lot of industries. But to be delayed 4 times is almost unacceptable. We ordered the new DMAX Ute in October last year to be told it should be available in January. This gets pushed back to April. Then April pushed back to early June and then early June back to mid to late August. Yesterday i ring the salesman only to get a reply back 6 hours later that the ute is now due to arrive on the 28th September. The other frustration is that the salesperson has never ever rang to inform me of the delays but i have to find out myself by contacting them every time - really poor service. This is costing us a lot of money as the current DMAX is at 260,000 kms and needing a lot of repairs to keep on the road. (Averaging 10,000 kms ever 8 weeks).Really frustrated and disappointing the entire experience. To make matters worse at the time i got three quotes and both the mazda and ford had NEW utes i could of taken within the month but i chose to wait to get another Isuzu.

We had an Isuzu MUX LST from 2018 until recently, we were happy with the car and the service at the local Isuzu Dealer in Northam WA. We tried to purchase another one recently but were told that we had to wait 12 months for Delivery. This is OK we understand that things are mixed up because of Covid. What really annoyed us is one dealer in Midland said we can wait or we could bye another MUX that they had but it would be $10,000 over the list drive to away price. We are going to purchase a Toyota now.

I bought a new Isuzu MUX in early 2019. As part of this, I received the capped price servicing plan which included a number of free services then capped price. The service label that had been affixed to my window from last service clearly said July but when I rang up my dealer to book a service they told me it was supposed to be June.No big deal I thought, but then they informed me that as it was a week over the due date I would have to pay about 500 for my service and that was Isuzu policy and there was nothing they could do about it.I contacted Isuzu customer service explaining that the label was wrong, the car was a short amount over the date and that the vehicle was only at 18 000 km instead of the limit of 30 000 km. I requested the date be extended a short amount due to the mistake and to speak to someone about it over the phone to explain.I received an email back which was the corporate equivalent of Tough luck

We picked up our new 2022 D.Max 4 x 4 two weeks ago from Hoppers Crossing Isuzu. The car is a highway dream and a bush beast. The staff were very helpful and the gift (backpack with goodies) was much liked. Regards, Kim & Kaz
