Greencross Vets Nedlands

The vet could not establish what was wrong with my cat after a full day of having him and never even managed to take blood off him.I was told to take him to Murdoch animal hospital but wasn’t informed that the entire cost of a minimum of $3500 (plus the $600 from the Greencross Vets; even though I Pay $80 monthly for my two cats) was on me because they only affiliate with the Midland Animal Hospital and their emergency is only open from 5 to 6 pm.I live near Fremantle

We are always able to get appointments to suit our schedules for our two cats (sisters - Beryl and Cheryl !) Always run to time in our experience - quick to notify and reschedule if problems and always kind and professional with our cats …Really appreciate the extra care and gentle handling - our nervous anxious girls always calm down in the vets hands…

The staff were amazingly helpful and kind. I rocked up, very panicked with my little bunny and they were so lovely and caring and kind and fit us in. I am very thankful for their kindness and not turning us away.

Amazing care and service. Our normal vet was closed and we had to bring our corgi somewhere. They fitted us in quickly. Gave great advice and details on options. We are seriously considering switching permanently. Update: we did switch and are very happy.

James has been looking after our Border Collie since Lou was 8 weeks old (he’s nearly 7 now). I have complete confidence leaving Lou with James because he’s knowledgeable and compassionate and genuinely cares about our little fella. Same can be said about James’ wonderful assistants - always so lovely towards Lou …and us! Thanks guys - we feel very fortunate to have you nearby!

Booked an appointment recently for my dog's annual vaccination. The Vet was running late but I looked past it. When he finally came to greet us, he made a judgemental comment about my dog being crazy. Went into the consultation room and he was extremely rude and judgemental about my dogs behaviour whilst insinuating that I hadn't done enough to calm my dog despite having walked him for an hour beforehand and an additional 20 minutes waiting for the vet to meet us. Despite attempting to communicate to him that anxiety medication didnt work on our dog from previous attempts he still had a go at us for not making our dog take it. This overwhelmed me and made me feel anxious causing my dog's anxiety to grow even worse which caused him to stress and misbehave. I came out of this consultation room bawling my eyes out which has never happened to me before. Extremely disappointed with this particular veterinarian as he lacks compassion and empathy.

The staff are very friendly and professional, they take the time to make you and your pet feel comfortable, and explain all the steps they take. I was able to book an appointment within 2 days, and the wait time was 5 minutes. Highly recommend the team at Nedlands!
