Incredibly big park and stunningly beautiful and filled with local birds.An ideal place to come for a picnic, have a barbecue - plenty of facilities available all around the park and lake - go for a walk or exercise.The trek around the lake is exactly 4.89km so ideal for 5k or 10k runs.

This pristine lake located just 10 mins drive away from the CBD is one of the best places to go for a jog or for cycling. Amazing view of the city and good spot for watching sunset and/or sunrise if you’re an early riser. Ample parking available around the lake (mostly paid parking).

Get some great views of Melbourne from here. The walking track around the lake is really nice too. It's not difficult to walk All the way around either. It's a real great spot to get those city skyline shots too if you're into photography. They hold a few events here including MS walk and Grand prix.
