Stopped in Wang for lunch on the way to Sydney and had a delightful wander along the Ovens topped off with a swim at Platypus Beach and great conversation with a local who was preparation for a cultural burn. Fabulous detour, thank you for sharing your culture

Great cultural interpretive walk along the Ovens River at Wangaratta. The Walk has a number of sculptures and interpretive signs with fantastic information about local indigenous history. Really enjoyed it and great for kids

I guess I was expecting the information on the trail to be directly related to the environment we were walking through, but it was generic to the area and Aboriginal culture in general.
