KOKOMO Beach House
We absolutely loved kokomo! Dining on the deck watching the sunset, great music and vibes. The food was excellent, truffle burrata and choc brownie the standouts. The pizza was delicious and made with love. A great wine and cocktail selection and lovely staff. We left with very full and happy tummies.

We booked Kokomo on Monday when we arrived which was a good idea as it was full.Interestingly, before heading over tonight we read the reviews and considered cancelling the reservation as there was some reviews that were scathing.Well.........I'm glad we decided to still come because those that wrote the bad reviews must have either been on a bad night or simply enjoy writing poor reviews, because we could not fault Kokomo.We arrived at 6pm and were seated at a fantastic table. Orders were taken promptly for drinks, with only minutes between ordering and arriving at the table.Entrees were the same and the selection was very good in my opinion. Prawns, Calamari and Ceviche was all spot on with great flavours.The mains followed in a very reasonable time based on the number of patrons seated, plenty of time to chat and enjoy each other's company without thinking that meals were taking too long.Pizzas were very nice and satisfying.Finally.......The service was great and everyone was super friendly and accommodating.DO NOT NECESSARILY LISTEN TO THE POOR REVIEWS, I'm glad we didn't.Well done Kokomo.

We've been to the island countless times but first time at this restaurant bar and the view is amazing! The waiters are all beautiful women, and the recommended pizza is also very delicious! Will definitely bring friends to come again next time!

What a delightful experience! I heartily recommend this restaurant. The food, drinks and service was first rate. And there is such a wonderful vibe about the place. We're definitely coming back.We really enjoyed the tapas experience, including a seafood platter of fresh local prawns, bugs, and oysters. The cocktails were great too.Big shout out to our awesome waitress Shirley, she was fabulous.

Ambiance is great. Cocktails are yummy. I don't recommend this place if you're hungry, as portions are meager for all dishes. Lamb ribs and barramundi had great flavours but a bit dry. Menu is misleading for two reasons:1. We ordered the King Prawns dish and they weren't King prawns, they were the small standard sized prawns.2. Items say they're gf, but some arent.Our food came out at different times and a couple of dishes were forgotten. From our group, most of us had already finished our dishes whilst a couple of friends were still waiting on their food( chips and a salad). we cancelled the order.Coeliacs Tip:Ask if anything is gluten free even if it says it is, as some of the items I wanted to order that said we're gf weren't.

Lovely beachy vibes in the restaurant. The menu was very limited and was a bit disappointed as the dishes were quite not generous. We ordered the lamb ribs, squid, broccolini and potatoes. The squid was cut very thin so it was mostly coating. The sesame paste with the broccolini was bitter and not very nice. Cocktails were yum with nice variety. I feel like this restaurant has potential but I wouldn’t visit again.

All round very good restaurant, friendly staff, beautiful environment, great view and to top it off spectacular food. Entree’s came out fast, our mains took a while but the entrees were perfect size, food was a tad expensive but not overpriced and is expected at a nice restaurant like this. Would recommend, has been the best dinner we have had on the island so far.

Reply: Thanks for your constructive feedback. Love the patronizing tone.Great spirit blaming it on tourists who make your business run. Also, we booked a month ago and live in Point Lookout. CheersComment: Used to love the food there but was extremely disappointed tonight. I took my family visiting for Christmas and they were shocked at the quality of the food…$27 for an industrial woolies pizza base is a shame. In addition half of the short menu was not even available (no prawns, no squid,etc.)
