Fantastic company to deal with and excellent customer service. I rang around multiple companies and had almost given up due to my semi-rural location (Hepburn Springs) and most places being unhelpful or overpriced for what I was after. Most of all the product and installation is amazing quality and I'm blown away by the result. Fantastic black heritage design that lifts the entrance to our grogeous gold miners cottage. We had the manufacture and installation of a sliding Crimsafe Screen Door about four or five years ago through a third party supplier. The HiLight Direct people involved had been very competent and helpful and the product proved to be superb, so when we need more insect screens in another location, we decided that we would deal directly with HiLight Direct.With our typical disorganisation, we had decided we needed to act during the holiday season, but, accidentally, we drove past the HiLight Direct showroom and saw that it was open. We wandered in, to see how long we would have to wait to to get an appointment to obtain a quote.It was lunchtime, but the receptionist attended to us immediately, established what we were looking for, assured us that we would be contacted in the next day or so and provided lots of useful information.Within a day, Micky contacted us to arrange a time for a first measurement of the doors needing screens, to establish our precise requirements and to provide a quote of the costs. She was extremely friendly and competent, and didn't push the highest cost alternatives.Within days Bill arrived to do a check measurement and to provide a detailed outline of what would happen when.Everything happened on time and on the due date, Andrew arrived to install the well constructed, practical and elegant Crimsafe sliding doors on our balconies. Because of the problems with the size of the lifts in the building, he had to carry the doors up three flights of stairs, which he did without complaint, and he cheerfully set about the task of installation. He was very conscientious and methodical and was prepared to take the time to answer our questions and to ensure that we understood how to operate the well engineered products.Overall, the whole experience was a great demonstration of excellent customer service. We are very happy with the quality and price of the Crimsafe screens installed.

I first discovered Hi-Light Direct Security Doors a decade ago and had them installed on all of our single and double-doors around the house. They are still working flawlessly and allow us to vent our home with cool air overnight during summer thanks to the robust design of the doors including Crimsafe mesh. The mesh is impenetrable but is almost invisible when looking from the inside out so it's easy to keep an eye on children in the back garden and also look out for anyone approaching the front door. I've just had Hi-Light Direct install security doors at a relatives Edwardian house. Hi-Light Direct did a great job of suggesting door designs which matched the period features of the house. There are beautiful, leadlight windows in the original doors and we're so happy with the security doors as the Crimsafe mesh is almost invisible so does not detract from the look of the leadlight windows. The workmanship was excellent and friendly and I'd recommend Hi-Light Direct security doors to anyone who wants a security door that does the job and matches the home too.

My Husband and I looked around for suppliers of Crimsafe security that would measure, quote and install at our home not far from Ballarat.Most companies we contacted couldn't be bothered with the travel even though it was a worthwhile job.There was no hesitation from Scott and his team from Bendigo. The service was trouble free from quote (arrived on time) order and instillation (again on time). There was one alteration required and this was done hassle free and within a couple of days.The team was friendly and reliable, cleaned up after themselves.... I would not hesitate to recommend them and we will be using their service again...WELL DONE TEAM :-)

We wanted a secure screen door fitted to our home in Moonee Ponds and our search led us to Hi-Light Direct and another local company. Hi-Light came to our house very promptly and were much more professional than the competition. They measured the opening properly (important in an old house with door and window openings slightly out of square and plumb) and gave us a high level of confidence that they knew what they were doing. Not only is the Crimsafe door is extremely secure, but the colour match is perfect and the fit likewise. Lead time was about six weeks and the fitting was done by a very good technician. All round, Hi-Light Direct provide excellent products with excellent service.

I'm afraid I was left very disappointed with the installation of a Lotus Vinyl Folding door. It started coming off the plaster wall within a few months of VERY LOW traffic usage. The installer came back making all kinds of excuses as to why there was no proper anchoring behind the hollow plaster wall and went on to do a very average job of reinforcing it, all the while telling me it may happen again and why he would not be able to secure it properly in the future. Sure enough it soon pulled off the wall again. This time I did not waste my time calling them to hear their lame excuses- luckily my husband is a very handy man and so I called in a few favours and got him to re-install the door. Guess what!!! 2+ years later it hasn't moved a millimetre and it wasn't even that hard- you just had to go the extra mile to do it properly. Lazy installation is not good enough!
