Bryan from Vintage Connections drive us and some friends around for the whole day. He took us to small boutique wineries exactly like we wanted. The quality of wines was fantastic, the people we met engaging and taught us much about the Hunter valley and it’s wines. Clearly Bryan has a great connection with the region and it’s wine. My partner and I had a fabulous day with Bryan. He was a great tour guide. As we both have a huge interest in wine it was great to have a tour guide with so much interesting and thorough knowledge about wine and the Hunter Valley. He really did exceed our expectations with all his knowledge and was so easy to deal with from beginning to end. His communication was outstanding also, the day ran so smoothly. Bryan was quite difficult to work with and was running multiple tours at the same time. Which meant he was rushing us through some experiences and leaving us stranded at others. Value for money isn’t great compared with other tours in the hunter. Also charged an extra $100 to take us 8 mins up the road after our tour was complete, return taxi was $30.

Bryan put together an amazing tailored private wine tour for our group. As someone who has been on many Hunter Valley wine tours over the years, this has been the best tour I have been on by far! Bryan took us to some lesser known cellar doors with fantastic wines. We had a lovely afternoon and I highly recommend booking with vintage connections for a well organised and fun wine tasting experience!

Bryan hosted a truly amazing tour for our group of friends, and even accommodated our dog, who equally had an amazing experience in the Hunter Valley. We’ve done a number of tours in the region and I can easily say this was one of the best. Bryan is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and took us to some incredibly unique wineries. I cannot recommend Bryan at Vintage Connections highly enough. We have done our share of tours of the Hunter and this was by far our best. Definitely a top of the line experience, aligned with our tastes and preferences through thorough consultation prior to the day, we got to hit some brilliant boutique wineries that we will definitely be back to. Seriously an unforgettable wine tour! Bryan is an absolute gem of a person whose extensive wine knowledge and passion made the whole day a great learning experience. Our group was treated to a private tour around boutique wineries in the Hunter — which is exactly what we wanted. We got to taste awesome wines in a more private setting and every winery that hosted us made us feel welcome. Bryan really builds great relationships with people and it showed throughout our tour. His jokes are 10/10 and he was a good sport for listening and appreciating to our shenanigans and joke attempts. I will 100% be recommending him to family, friends and strangers.
