This bakery has been in business for over 30 years. And like most 'mom-and-pop' run stores, it's cash only.Electronic payment comes with a fee per transaction that the business has to pay. It would only be viable for a small business if they hiked up the price of food or if a minimum spend was introduced to cover this fee. Would you be happy to spend a minimum of $10 or $15 just so you can pay by EFTPOS? When all you want is a pie and drink or a banh mi.The owners are hardworking and generous people. And by the way, the food is delicious and great value.

They proudly titled it since 1986. But they provide the worst customer service. They steal money. Short changed me when I confronted her she threw my bread rolls and my kid’s donuts and starts to yell in her language to the person at the back.Lady if you read this, in this day and age its not smart to scam someone for a few dollars, it never pays off, you have made me angry enough to waste my time to write this, as you did this so effortlessly I'm guessing others will write here too.

I bought some donuts from this place and I tasted some rocks. I think they might’ve dropped it on the floor and put it back in the display. The lady at the front is very rude and racist. I would never go to this place even if someone pays me to. She treated me like I’m poor and wasting her time. She doesn’t Have any manners

I just went to this bakery to buy some breakfast rolls! The lady at the front charged me double price on purpose. And threw the bread rolls on the table and cash on the register! And started yelling in her language to the other person in the kitchen. Very bad customer service. All because I asked her I wanted different bread rolls than the one she packed. Very rude and Angry woman!

Very surprised to read that negative review for dishonesty. These are honest hard-working small business people. I've been going for 6 years and never had any issues. In fact from time to time they drop a free extra into the bag. The Vietnamese Pork salad rolls are good and well priced. They sell my preferred croissant as well and I lived in France for 15 years. Also I don't blame them for only taking cash. There's 2 ATM 10m from their door, and why give their hard earned money to the banks?

The bread rolls are fresh but double the price. And the lady at the front is so rude, if you wanna have a worst day you should go there because that lady would insult you buy throwing whatever you buy and get mad at you and yells if you inquire more than 1 stuff! She acts like she’s so busy and you’re wasting her time when she’s there to run a business with a smile. She would ruin your day by being so rude

I went to this place this morning to get some bread rolls.I hand this lady my $10 note and she hid my note behind her and gave me wrong change.and told me I gave her $5 note,when I confronted her she yelled at me and threw the change on the counterIt was very uncomfortable. I don’t understand why they are trying steal money from the customers. It’s only few $$s. But This is very unacceptable. She also charged me double price for everything I bought there.

Excellent banh mi and a good selection of bread and cakes, pastries and doughnuts. New owner now baking sourdough loaves as well as white loaves and rolls. Great local bakery.

The worst customer service ever. The lady at the front is so rude and she has no manners. She should do some course that teaches respect. She shouldn’t be even serving customers. She needs to be educated. She steals money and charges double price for everything. And if you ask how much on any of the products she would raise her voice and yells at you she expect you to just order and pay regardless of what and how much are the products. No inquiry allowed. She is the world worst customer service representative.
