Terrible communication and customer service.Would definitely not recommend this store.I took my piece in to get a repair quote only. I was told by the older lady that the jeweller would call me with a quote on the following Thursday. Without my consent they sent my piece to Sydney and had the repair done and charged my husband $80 when the ring came back in store.No point during the 20 days they had my ring did I receive a message or talk to anyone about okaying the $80 quote.I had a quote from the jeweller, who made the ring in Melbourne, that it shouldn't cost more than $10.The owner gave me excuses then said to bring it back in and we will UNFIX it and give you a refund.

My husband and I have only ever used this jewellers in Mudgee. The staff all have a wonderful wealth of knowledge and work hard to get you what you're after.My engagement and wedding rings were falling apart as we only bought what we could afford at the time. Alison from Byrne's helped me to design a new ring, using the stones from the old set to make an absolutely gorgeous ring that will last me for the rest if my days.I'll be a customer here for a long as they are open.

I was coerced into paying more than I should of at this place. I should of gone back of the money but felt intimated by the staff. I'm not sure how legitimate this establishment is. I just thought people should know so they don't have a similar experience.

Thank you to everyone at Byrnes Jewellers for going above & beyond with their customer service! Not only are the jewelry there so unique & affordable, but they even managed to get our customisation done by the time we came back to Mudgee to get married, which was about 1 month. The weddings bands are spectacular & we are so happy with them. Not only that but when we came back to our holiday house in Evanslea, there was a bottle of champagne & chocolates with well wishes for our wedding from Byrnes Jewellers! Never in our life has anyone done anything like this out of the kindness of their heart. We can't thank you enough for your generosity & we will definately be back!
