About 8pm on a Tuesday night a Pelican hit our roof and tumbled onto our small balcony with a high railing and couldn’t get out. Thank you so much to the volunteers at WA Wildlife, who manned the phones after hours and managed to get the WA Rescue seabirds and waterbirds volunteers to come and rescue the poor bird. They said he was only young and probably disoriented, as they very professionally captured and took him back for safe keeping and eventual release once checked by a vet tomorrow. We appreciate all you do.

Zeus came to rescue a bird from my front yard, unfortunately the bird didn't survive however - the team was eager to help, compassionate and helpful. Amazing staff and I am so very appreciative of their time and service to our wildlife!
