Anna’s small group classes are terrific. Anna’s a great teacher who manages all levels of experience no matter which end of the ‘artist’ spectrum you’re on. Shes patient, inspiring and fun!

Anna has been a wonderful and encouraging teacher introducing my partner and I to the mindful art of travel sketching with watercolour! I attended the small class introduction course and a weekend private lesson, and would definitely recommend Just Sketch to other beginners!

I found Anna a few years ago through her lovely insta account @justsketchnow and started following along, always inspired by the lovely images. Art classes were always my happy place at school, yet as an adult, I could never make the time to sit down and create. During lock-down I started with Anna's classes and haven't looked back! Each week I'm totally absorbed as I create, so much so that I don't say much, but I always enjoy the friendly banter during the class. Anna unfailingly delivers inspiring subject matter to sketch and paint, coupled with focusing on new techniques. Anna cultivates a friendly, fun and mutually supportive atmosphere in each and every class. Don't think twice about signing up - there will be no turning back. Happy sketching and painting! Sarah

We had a wonderful afternoon with JustSketchNow making Christmas cards and tags. It was so much fun, a really beautiful afternoon with friends, and we all discovered we were more creative than we realised!

Anna’s Just Sketch classes are magic to me - they’re like an art class rolled into a meditation session! While teaching watercolour techniques, perspectives and other tips and tricks, Anna encourages everyone to explore their own style. The result in our class was always six completely different but really beautiful sketches. I’ve gone from complete beginner to becoming confident enough to pick up the pen and brush and create whatever takes my interest. When I’m needing to de-stress I’ve discovered there’s nothing better than digging into old holiday snaps and painting one - it transports me to another place and time for half an hour.I love that Anna encourages students to keep their paints and pens handy at all times - 15 minutes waiting for someone in a cafe is all it takes to to sneak in a bit if practice. I can’t wait to continue learning over her weekly casual Zoom sessions, plus our wonderful group of six beginners decided to meet up again and do another series of classes together with Anna.

Anna is an amazing teacher. Warm and charismatic she encourages even the rawest beginner to tap into their creativity and discover a passion for sketching. Couldn’t recommend her more highly.

Learning the skills to sketch with pencil and watercolours with our gorgeous teacher Anna, is an hour each week of fabulous fun, whilst learning fantastic art techniques and forming friendships. I would recommend these wonderful classes to everyone whether artistic or not, it is so relaxing and so enjoyable.
