We have been meaning to try Essence of Indya for ages! We’re now kicking ourselves, as we definitely should have tried the food here long before now! Absolutely amazing and authentic flavours. Having been to that part of the world before, I can honestly recommend this place to anyone who loves Indian cuisine!Definitely will be back!!!

Had lunch with a friend. So glad my friend suggested we go here. The lunch menu deal was generous and very reasonably priced. The food tasted amazing and the staff were very attentive and pleasant. The atmosphere was relaxing and unpretentious. Highly recommend and I hope people get behind this business given it's situated just outside of central Ipswich. The location may be a drawback for some but worth the effort in my opinion.

Did takeaway so can't speak to atmosphere. Food was excellent, gentleman behind the counter was great to deal with. Loved the Butter Chicken .

Went for dinner as reviews were good.Busy queues for the take outs. We eat in took ages to be serviced, then items missing had to remind them to bring them out.Menu is said to be dairy free but very limited so they made a special dish which was very salty. Chicken dishes the chicken was fatty n full.Rice was either under cooked or old as was hard and clumped together.Made a complaint and was given a dish for free.Won’t be trying it a second time. Sorry

Mouth watering delicious food served in an authentic Indian atmosphere. The staff is very knowledgeable and polite. Always on their maximum effort to meet the customer needs.On-site parking and plenty of off road parking available.Seating available both inside and outside.BYO and fully licensed bar.Takeaway available for both lunches and dinner.Five star review for the food and excellent service.

Service was good and fast, lunch deal was $11 advertised as $9.99 with $1 fresh ingredient surcharge? Disappointed when I got home I realised I didn’t receive rice with my meal. Restaurant wasn’t busy must have slipped their mind.

Just stopped to get some takeaway to try it out. Went all veg this time but will go all meat next time. Probably needs a bit more Indian influence in the decor area to git it some atmosphere.

Excellent food! Extremely flavourful. Even the hot and medium are so full of flavour you barely notice the heat. Best Indian restaurant ive been too
