The food is good and portions generous. Limited space and drink selection but overall adequate. Prices good for these days especially Tuesday specials. Can be busy which slows down the kitchen but worth the wait. Generally good staff also. There is a silly ground rail at the back of the outside ramp that's going to trip someone one day. Been there long before Founders but needs addressing. Overall good little place...

Absolutely amazing. My sister is coeliac so we went here on the recommendation of a gluten free FB group. Was not disappointed.I haven't eaten meatloaf in ages and it was like eating my mum's cooking.The portions are big so I'll be eating leftovers tomorrow!Even my 11yo nephew was impressed with his blue heaven milkshake.We'll go back again for sure.

Inedible. Having had good food previously, we went here for our anniversary. Sad to say, both meals were inedible. Parmi was rubbish chicken that had been defrosted in a microwave and then overcooked. Rubber, not food. Risotto was a rice soup with undercooked chorizo. First time we've ever sent food back. Told the waiting staff. They were apologetic but didn't offer to replace the meal, give a free meal, or even a free drink! $105 for two Inedible meals and a couple of drinks hurts!

Needed good food and beer after some mountain biking at the you yang's and delighted with the awesome service and yummy food. Thank you Sarah for such warm, inviting and attentive service. Had the calamari salad and surf and turf and beers on tap!Minimal decor and ambience inside and would have loved an outdoor option, but still presently surprised. Will be back next time we're in the area.

I attended an event here with dinner and a show and I can't fault either. Dinner was gorgeous and cooked to perfection. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the place ran in a timely manner. It's not a huge place but cosy and intimate - perfect for date night.

We dine on Sunday lunchtime and not so many people and yet a surprise to see biggest chicken parmi i ever seen.. The serving is huge, so huge that I had to take away half of the meal. Nice coffee too, almost no waiting time and orders were quickly served. Highly recommend to try this out in Lara.

Very average place, it's a pitty because they have an opportunity to do things properly in a town like lara which doesn't have a good selection of restraunts, instead they dish out cheap quality ingredients with not alot of love from the chef. This experience topped it for me, I payed 40$ for a pan fried coles budget steak which was white in colour from being steamed, I top was burnt brown could of even been frozen cooked.The communication between the kitchen and the waiters is average, the waiters don't know what food is available as quantitys diminish, I could go on Gordon Ramsay would tear this place apart. We won't be returning. This place will probly last in Lara, in geelong it would be a sinking ship.

Arrived at this quaint little spot in Lara around 6, ordered dinner around 6.15. 7.05 asked waitress how long our dinner would be. Promptly got told Long oven time takes longer" ah excuse me...never heard that one before. Anyway around 7.20 we all got our food except for two of our group..they forgot them..another ten minutes and they were served. Partners burger cold when she got it

Tried Founders for lunch. It is a big venue and did not have many customers. The service was very accommodating and when the Thai beef salad arrived we were offered to take home what we could not eat. It was an enormous plate of food and very delicious. My cup of Sencha Green Tea was served very elegantly. We would be happy to go again.
