Dowell Windows

Very poor professionalism. Twice on the day of delivery we are advised that the windows will be another week.Very poor and very inconvenient for our workflow. We should have trusted our intuition and bought Vantage windows…the manufacturer responded to this rating and asked for our project details, which I gave them. Since then……crickets!Please don’t pretend that you care publicly, and not respond and care personally. That’s BS

After a bad installation effort, Dowell persevered to get the job done properly.Putting some resources into quality assurance might help the company along...then they could afford to include powder coated screws to colour match their frames.

Missed initial delivery advised by 6 weeks. Still no keys or screen. False tracking numbers provided. No confirmation calls on deliveryVery poor service

What a shambles. Products are ok but if you want service or repairs go elsewhere. Terrible communication, unreliable and massive stuff around. Had a sliding security door come off the rails needed a simple wheel repair. They expected money before making any booking. So I made a booking and paid 1 week prior to find they still hadn’t made the booking, took a day off work to be around on another day, no show all day. rescheduled once again waited all morning - no show again. On leaving found a repair man wandering the streets as he had been given a suburb but no address for our house. Pretty crazy really. Much easier to go with anyone else really if you need service or repairs. There seems to be no communication between admin stuff and repair man.

Terrible quality and service.I have a house full of bi-folds and doors that have failed.No interest from Dowell to fulfill their statutory obligations, insisting on a limited contractual warranty period. Off to QCAT!

Windows were delayed nearly 6 weeks after taking FULL payment., They turned up piratically over another 4 weeks and they have still not been rectified nearly 4 months later. Poor communication

We built a new house in 2017. The builder bought all windows from Dowell.One of the window glasses has a big sticker mark outside! This is meant to be Brand-new windowpane!What a joke! They must use factory-second material. Who would buy a window with such a mark?We requested Dowell to remove the mark or replace the window but they said their job is to supply their customer's (builder's) order, if we were not happy with it we should buy another one for $475.53 to replace it. This is not an acceptable quality by anyone’s standard.

Dowell products are good, but once it started having issue, that's where you're in trouble. Customer service is good and don't expect them to do what they said they're going to do. Lack of communication is what they do best, especially between their customer service and service tech team. I had to make multiple phone to chase them up, and constantly getting I will find out and get back to you'

Windows and security screens door are all well built. Excellent after sales support from Michael when I needed a new wheel and he showed me how to painlessly install and fix another issue myself.

I had an issue that required attention and after explaining the situation to Alisha from Dowell in Brisbane, she was more than happy to track down the part I required. It was not long after I had spoken to Alisha that she contacted me and advised that she had found the part and that she would send it out immediately. I would just like to thank Alisha for her great after sales assistance and Dowell for having great staff.
