atWork Australia (Disability Employment Services)

I had nothing but trouble with this organisation & this office in particular. The staff turnover is secondary to none. And there was only 1 person working in the office, with no-one else being there at all most of the time. Trying to get through to the office was an absolute nightmare. And then when you left a message, no one returned the calls, not even the help desk. Also in all the time that I was registered with the organisation, I only went to 1 job interview. Also, whilst registered with the organisation, my Newstart Allowance was cut off that many times, I actually lost count. So in other words, I had nothing but grief from this organisation & definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.

atWork were the most proactive, thoughtful and client focused of all the employment agencies that I had worked with.atWork gave great advice that I was able to utilise when applying for jobs, and were the only agency that found a job that was exactly what I wanted, not what was just on their books.

2.5 stars.Got a job with them, but only after l insisted on applying for a particular job .She had me doing paperwork for a few applications.The employer I was initially sent to stuffed me around only offering a few hours here and there, & cancelling shifts on me.They shouldn't have people like that on their books.I believe that they were racist.Whilst Vilda was motivated, she was quite rude and ageist, which is ironic really!She made comments such as an 18yo completed her paperwork by herself in an hour when I needed help due to confusing questions- not helpful & sarcastic! Needless to say l dreaded going in. What's your problem, Vilda , older people still need to eat & pay bills.The whole experience was quite degrading when it shouldn't have been.

I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to get any more employment, however atwotk has proven to be the exception. After being unemployment for many years.

Highly recommend. I cannot thank Vilda enough. She has always been extremely helpful supportive and understanding throughout my journey to find suitable employment.

I've been with other agency's, none were as dedicated to helping as atWork staff were. They're friendly & always get back to me when I need them. This office has only been open within the last 6 months but they mean business & they know their business.Their process periods are super fast & I honestly like & feel a warm welcoming & genuine kindness from the staff here in Sunbury. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants help in getting back to work.I was only with them for a short time & now am working again, the transition was smooth & the staff supportive & generous with their time.Thank you atWork & especially thank you to my support worker, Vilda.Wishing you prosperity & wellness, Sarah.

These people are the WORST!!! they have not helped one bit and i literally mean that, I have not been to ONE appointment. They made sure that my payments are cut off more than once! although i have NEVER ONCE MET MY JOB PROVIDER for an appointment. i have to wait THREE WEEKS to see another payment. There is nothing centrelink can do as they say it was my job provider. I dont think these people truly understand the different diversity in DISABILITY!!!! They are HORRIBLE

If you have major mental health issues or have children that are too young to stay home alone, avoid this job provider like the plague. And God forbid your phone is playing up or your in hospital, be prepared to receive a threat to have your payment put on hold. Only seem to be interested in what bonuses they get from the government, I'm working over my 15 hours minimum a week just so I can get rid of this company quicker. Even considering moving to another provider, the mental anguish I've felt dealing with these people is ridiculous. No compassion or understanding & forget about asking for vouchers so you can get to work because they'll let you down in that department also. Would not recommend.

I’ve been with Atwork Australia for over three years and the staff i find particularly helpful especially my current job coach Vilda. She refers me to work so I get the interviews and so far I have been employed once.my work is quiet at the moment so I’m back with Atwork Australia and so far I have 1 interview thanks to Vilda.
