Went to get my WWC check done. The girl behind the counter did not have a clue as to what she was doing. I carried my DL, Aust passport, citizenship cert , Medicare and health insurance cards with me. She turned me away asking me to bring a utility bill. ???? My wife went to get passport photos done few weeks back. 430pm! The old lady behind the counter yelled at her I am not doing another passport today as I've done so many". She was with my 6 month old. The people who are working here need to learn what customer service is."

exellent customer service. The old one star reviews must be for the previous owners because this post office is great. I dont know why people bother going to toorak village post office that is supposedly more 'prestigious' when this better post office is 5 minutes down the road.

Went to pick up a parcel I arrived at 5:02 the lady refused to serve me and told me they were closed, well 2 other customers in the store . . . beyond frustrating.

Sent a parcel to the UK. Paid extra for express delivery. Was told it was ok to not list the value as it was a gift (AFTER I had written the value) She whited it out and declared it as no value. Have since remembered my receiver may now be charged tax when the items definitely fall under the threshold of £36 for no tax. All because they don't know basic rules for a common country - the UK. I wouldn't think that would be that hard. Not impressed and will be sending my parcels from Pran Central post office in the future. The queues are not enough of a deterrent if they at least know the processes international postage...

I was the Postal Manager at the Hawksburn Post Office up to September 1993 when Australia Post sold off the Post Office as a franchise". They did not call it a franchise - they called it a Licenced Post Office (LPO) - same thing! For many years my staff and I provided EXCELLENT service to which I am very proud. Unfortunately my main assistant Shirley passed away in February 2022."
