My ancestors are pictured on the wall in the dining area, a photo taken when the building was a general store on the (now gone) rail-line. It's a right proper country pub, the people are great.

I’d driven past this pub on a weekend and it was pumping so I thought I’d check it out next time we were in the area. Called in at 2pm on a very quiet Tuesday but they were happy to still do lunch for us. The vegetarian menu was understandably small here so I just ordered a few sides which were nice. My partner devoured the schnitzel burger. The Pinot Gris was also good. The young bar lady (sorry didn’t catch your name) was friendly, efficient and helpful. I recommend calling in on a weekend for a great country atmosphere.

What a beautiful country pub. Staff are amazing and beer was cold. Interesting looking chandelier’s in the dining area and plenty of room thru out for everyone.

Usually get a nice meal here, but I'm not sure if there is a new chef because I went there on the weekend and ordered a main dish of calamari and chips. When it arrived (after 40 minutes of waiting), I got 5 small bits of calamari and French fries. There was a note saying there is a potato shortage, so we would get waffle chips, but fries came out. It was $16 and was disappointed in the meal overall. Oh, not to mention got a schooner of great northern, and it was flat. The prices of the drinks are ridiculous as well $9 for a schooner, $24 for 2 schooners of ginger beer. Won't be back!

Nice old pub, in a nice location, good live music, very puppy friendly which is awesome. Only thing is that the food was pretty average really, even for pib standards, wouldn't cost much to make it a bit nicer with fresh local produces and with more options for dietary requirements

Friendly staff and patrons. Good gender balance. Good pool table in small games room. Good variety of drinks, food and seating (indoor, bar, deck, verandah, covered outdoor dining or out under the huge trees). Ginger beer on tap (and vodka/lemon lime and bitters). Tasty pumpkin salad & cheesy garlic bread. Will be back to try 2 varieties of chicken wings and waffle fries. Bit of a drive, but lovely.

Called in today with a friend for an early lunch. Nice country pub. Had a senior's meal $15.00. Crumbed chicken +salad. Friend had fish n chips. Very tasty meals. Staff friendly and helpful when ordering.

So asked sister establishment if they were willing to take card over the phone and they said this pub would be more then happy too so we encouraged our training participants to eat here. When got here we received rude service and got told that they wouldn't. Could here the staff talking about our table from the bar. One of our table ordered and paid then got told later they didn't have that menu item. I wouldn't recommend this establishment. And I won't be coming back. I don't like being treated that way.. we could of spent a lot of money collectively. Get treated how you treat people. And this pub has a long way to go in customer service department.
