This is the best cafe in Brighton, hands down! I have been coming here for years and have just had another wonderful birthday cake made. I highly recommend for cakes, coffee and croissants. Oh, and the veggie pasties and soup. As well as amazing food, Clare and her team are always so warm and friendly. Put simply, I love this place and Lou’s on Hampton, and if you haven’t been, go!

A must visit if you are in Brighton, or even if you are not, it is definitely worth the drive.The food is simply delicious and taste great, there is a great variety and it is all hand made.The coffe it is also one of the best you can drink in Melbourne.The spot it’s absolutely fantastic, looking at the bay.Highly recommend!

I’ve been there with my friend from Japan and had beautiful croissant and some amazing homemade pies and cheesecakes. Staff are super friendly and lovely vibes. I had homemade Australian lamington and that was the best one I’ve ever had in Melbourne. 100% recommended!

Our regular weekend stop. Love this place! So many choices, can’t go past the almond croissant or the sausage rolls. Also best lamingtons I’ve ever had.

Great little cafe on the corner of south road. The staff are very friendly and helpful, all the food is outstanding so fresh, tasty and decadent. Would highly recommend best place with real authentic french pastries money well spent.

Rude staff especially the male staff. Cafe closing time is 2PM, I arrived at the cafe around 1:40PM today but they said they were closed. I asked if there’s any drinks that I can buy and the male staff suggested green tea latte and look at the photo I attached, that doesn’t look anything like a green tea but a bland milk. Tasteless and that was 4AUD. He even forced me to say “Please” to him. I think this is kind of racism. The female staff just didn’t take any action. I highly suggest you to educate your staff properly or else your cafe will lose your great reputation. Very disappointing.
