I found Michael to be very helpful and professional. He listened to what we wanted and was always willing to adapt the drawings as we progressed.He was with us every step of the way, following up on things that stalled (such as DA approval) and ensuring we were kept informed.The building works are almost completed now, we are seeing his drawings come to life and we couldn't be happier. It looks amazing.

We owned a coastal building block and sought help to plan and build. 'Celsius Architects' superbly managed all stages of planning and construction to ensure that our home made best use of the site and met all of our 'must have' features.'Celsius Architects' planned a three-level, timber-framed, dwelling, with enough height to provide all-round views of sea and land. The upper level was 'living space' and included kitchen, dining and lounge - with excellent gas-fire warmth, dining table for eight, window-walls on two sides to grab all-round scenery. Celsius Architects enabled us to be builders of a beautiful house for manageable cost. They planned for the stairwell to be 'a thermal riser,' sending seasonally cool or warm air through the building. Celsius made the stairs a beautiful feature with non-slip Aussie-Oak treads, polished hand-rails and cunning steps a little wider and shallower than usual, having safety and mobility in mind.Celsius Architects are great planners. Our upper level is our Hub; a space for meeting, cooking, dining, relaxing and viewing. Tinted, all-round windows bring sea breeze, mountains and sky right into the house.A small ocean-facing upper deck is very special, housing a telescope and comfortable seating.Thank you Celsius Architects for ensuring we achieved all of our goals for our home.Mary and Ross

We bought an old brick cottage in Lane Cove, on the edge of the Lane Cove River Canyon! The location was excellent but several months of residence showed us the many ways in which the old house was actually 'very, very old!' Celsius Architects made several home visits and accepted the challenge to make our 1900 house fit comfortably with our 2000 lifestyle. They worked with our ideas- starting with our frustrations in living with poor stairway access to three levels, inadequate lighting, and a 'dingy' appearance, due mainly to poor lighting and walls too dark - the woodwork was of good quality but the interior painting was dismal in all respects. Celsius Architects visited us on a number of occasions and worked with our ideas - and, down the track, they knew some excellent tradespeople and planning for how we could 'get more bang for our buck.' We especially valued the way they would listen to our complaints and ideas about space, and then get back to us with specific options for meeting the needs and/or solving the problem. We came to see location on the Lane Cove River was an asset because our home was now re-designed and brightly decorated to take best advantage of the River views. One example of re-design of our home, for example, was the way they suggested changing a store room into a spacious bedroom, sounds like a minor matter, but in fact, it made it possible for us to offer accommodation to one of our sons, and we much enjoyed his company for a whole year.The re-design and re-decoration of our home made a massive difference to our happiness in living at that location.
