Camel's Hump
Short walk from car park. Went to try and see C2023 comet but clouded over. Really nice view to the north of Hanging Rock.

Spectacular view from the top. It was very windy over there so could not stay longer with kid but worth visiting. We parked our car in camel's hump car park and did hiking for about 15 mints to go to see camel's hump view point.

Very nice walk. Just beware of the signs in the area. There are few other walking trails nearby so ensure you go on the right one.

This place is really difficult to pick, weather wise. Due to its position and altitude, you can easily get rainy and cold on a forecasted good weather day.As a climber, I wanted to give the walls a go. I see potential for a surf cam" style of monitoring.I am sure on good weather days this place would be amazing! P.S look out for leeches."

Camel's Hump
We were looking for an easy-ish walking track to go with our senior dogs! We picked the wrong day to go so the weather wasn’t good so we couldn’t see much from the lookout but it was a good dog friendly walking track. We would visit again to see the proper view from this place but overall it was a quick walk which wasn’t too difficult!

Very lonely drive, once you reach base location, the lookout is 20-30 minutes uphill bushwalk,not a lot of company around, good for people loving secluded natural trails.

Nice walk up to the summit lookout to take in the fabulous view, even on a cloudy day. The water trickling down the grooves of the track after it's been raining is very pretty.

Great area for hiking, and less than 2 hours from boronia.. the lookout point itself is a relatively steep but quick 15 min walk from the camels hump carpark and with a half way bench to sit down so really for most ppl! We trekked all over the place after being at the back wall so we actually found it a different way rather than from the carpark.

Great summit with very short and easy walk from the car park. Only 1.2km return. Around 15-20 mins return. Suitable for all ages. Lots of people take their dogs here too.Also have rock climbing section in the left hand side before the summit viewing platform.A great place for sunrise or sunset. And yes, can do star glazing at night too.For me, always a truly special and memorable place.
