Sydney Park
Unique public open space that bares its ecological and hydrological functions out on display. You can enter different levels of immersion in the systems, from sticking to the main paths and open grasslands, exploring little nooks, crossing the water on stepping stones, to walking into wild areas and biofiltration basins on narrow overgrown paths. Dog friendly, playground, community garden, pretty good skate park, tall hills for training and views of the city and eastern suburbs.

Dog Friendly Park! Off leash nearly the whole park. Cool playground for kids..beautiful hills to walk up and sit. A few water ponds. Friendly walking paths all around the park mostly flat very nicely designed. Friendly crowd atmosphere.Love this park! The cafe in the park can be much better. Needs better high quality coffee and food.

Sydney Park
This is a really lovely space in a busy area of the city and worth visiting whether you’re after a picnic spot with friends or a quiet stroll. There’s a couple of small hills which give great views over the city scape in the distance and there’s a few wildlife areas and ponds to explore. Everywhere is well kept and tidy and with it’s large size it’s a lovely asset to the area.

Great place to relaxed and unwind. Fun for your dog to run around and explore great for kids to learn about nature, some animals and birds. Go down and check it out. Have updated pics for you to look at to tempt you to get out and about.

Sydney Park
A pleasant park that has good tracks for runners, playgrounds and skate parks for kids of all ages, and play areas for dogs. Views are nice on a good day. The park isn’t particularly large.

Sydney Park
Gorgeous park with ample areas to explore with your dog. You’re able to have your dog off leash throughout the whole park and during the afternoons there are plenty of fur friends around. The big hill is perfect for a picnic and city views and there is also a multi purpose oval and skate/cycle area. Also surprised to find that the park is lit at night through some of the main walking areas. We visited after 10pm and found there was no one around but it was still pleasant for a walk.

Sydney Park
Sydney Park is a little haven in the middle of a part of the city that is overrun with traffic, warehouses and blocks of two bed units. It’s therefore pretty busy, but a great place to take kids or go for a walk/run. The skate park and bowl are new and top notch. Not great if you’re afraid of dogs.

Sydney Park
Sydney Park is undoubtedly one of the most incredible parks I have ever been to. This park is enormous and is packed with activities, features, and facilities that cater to everyone, from kids to adults. I recently visited the park, and I was blown away by the beauty and the diversity of the space. One of the things I appreciated about Sydney Park is that it has a lot of facilities, including picnic areas, barbecues, public toilets, shaded areas, and seating areas, which made my visit comfortable and convenient. I especially loved the fact that there were numerous barbecue areas dotted throughout the park, which made it easy for me to enjoy a good barbecue with my family.Another feature of Sydney Park that stood out to me was the off-leash areas for dogs. My furry friend had a great time in the extensive off-leash areas, which included a paddling pool for dogs. This was a real treat for him, and I was happy to see him enjoying himself. The park's playground is extensive and includes diverse equipment for kids of all ages and abilities. Additionally, the children's cycling track and cycling center were a great way to keep the kids active and entertained. I also appreciated the two fitness stations featuring a range of equipment for bodyweight exercise, which I found useful for my workout routine. The skate park was one of the highlights of the park for me. It is the largest skate park in Sydney and features zones to suit every ability and style of skating, scooting, and BMX riding. It was fascinating to watch the skilled skaters perform their tricks, and I was impressed by the park's inclusivity. The sports facilities, including the Alan Davidson Oval, are another standout feature of the park. The oval caters to summer and winter sports and includes adjacent outdoor fitness training areas. There are also public art and memorials, including the SPAIDs memorial, which adds to the park's cultural significance. The village green with a cafe kiosk is an excellent place to relax and grab a bite to eat. It is also worth mentioning that the on-site parking is convenient and plentiful, with four car parks located throughout the park. Finally, the stormwater harvesting system used in the park is a great example of sustainable practices. The water is reused to top up the wetlands and irrigate the 44-hectare park and supply the neighboring depot, making Sydney Park an environmentally responsible destination. In summary, Sydney Park is a fantastic destination that is perfect for families, friends, and even solo visitors looking for a great day out. It is a well-maintained park that offers plenty of facilities and activities for everyone, including furry friends. I highly recommend it and rate it five stars.
