Skippers Ticket Hillarys Boat School

What a great experience got my RST with Steph great instructor no pressure explained everything clearly, they stayed in touch with email and text on what to study just a great overall experience five stars for sure.

Usually I don’t like to leave any comments but I’d like to recommend boat school to anyone who wants to get skipper ticket. They make things so easy and clear. As long as you follow the instructions they provide. You will know what you need to do and how to do it! The trainer is full of patience and knows what he is doing! Good job boat school!

I just completed my RST today at Hillarys with Perth Boating School. Leading up to the test, I received emails and text messages regarding course information, time and place of the test and also many prompts to study, including material to read and video links to their website. Adrian was my trainer and did a fantastic job. Very informative, in a relaxed way and explained everything in a very practical/ obvious sense, making sure we understood, and gave us time to ask questions/ practise maneuvers as many times as we needed to feel comfortable. Booked to do my RST with Perth Boating School on Friday, received heaps of information immediately towards training tools etc for me to study up over the weekend, 150+ practice questions, videos on YouTube or online for preparation of theory and practical tests.Fronted up at Hillarys Monday morning, and my trainer/accessor David was waiting for me, after the theory part was successfully completed, we walked over to the marina and boarded the very well equipped iiCaptain training boat, sweet.After an hours practice, the practical accessment was conducted, completed successfully I was issued with my temporary certificate/licence.Dave was a great trainer, clear and precise training on board iiCaptain, thanks David for a great experience and for passing on so much more knowledge on top of the RST requirements.

Sharon, its a shame you didn't look at the website. Perth Boat School has been operating skippers tickets at Hillarys, using Hillarys local Master trainers for 7 years and tens of thousands of students have happily used our online booking system to do it 7 days a week.Its really strange that you would post a review of a service you didn't use.Also that you would use this to actually place an advert for a person who only just recently started doing skippers tickets with his 1 trainer and 1 boat.Harry - we are the only Boat School that is also an Authorised Provider of Skippers Tickets - fact. We are nothing like the part timers, amateurs and unethical people handing out skippers tickets. We are professionals devoted to better boating.Its a shame that you, whoever you are, think that this review is ok. I think its unethical and anyone who knows me or knows how I do things will stand behind me - just look at the reviews on our website. We actually ARE an authorised provider, and a registered training organisation - something this other business isn't. We operate by proving how good we are - we dont need to resort to sneaky reviews to encourage clients. Sadly it has all been done before, they come and they go, we stay, providing proper boating education to WA boaters.
