Sooo yummy! The staff were super helpful as I am a hot pot beginner. And the food was all fresh and high quality.They have someone servicing the dipping sauce station and provide a menu of great combos or allow you to pick your own. Be warned the garlic levels!The beef barbie, although gimmicky, was a delicious option... I couldn’t fault anything

The ingredients were fresh and the soup was nice, but quite expensive. Not many of staff members knew English. Also make sure you don't over pay. We were charged for few items which never ordered.

Great food. Spent about $50pp, table of 4. Little bit to get the gist of ordering, particularly if you don't read Chinese... But the staff are happy to help. Loving all the spicy sauces, soup options. Free watermelon and rice drink while you wait. Long wait times, best book a table ahead of time or be prepared to wait upwards of an hour... Even if you show up at 5pm.

Great food. As far as I'm concerned, compared to most other 'expensive' Chinese hotpot places, it is decently more affordable and the food is definitely better in my opinion.So while not the cheapest of all hotpot places, I reckon if you want a nice Chinese hotpot experience with high meat quality and cleanliness, without being overtly expensive like many other restaurants of the same vein, this might suit you!I'd say, though, that this place might be a bit lacking in terms of sauce variety. But by lacking I mean like they still have 15+ different sauces. Then again, a lot of Chinese hotpot restaurants I've been to have like 30-40 different sauces. Personally I found that a bit overwhelming so I actually ended up preferring this.4.5/5

Great food, BYO is really awesome, well priced, but what lacks is the very poor service. It’s as if our waiter just didn’t care, we asked for wine glasses twice and eventually got water glasses... cool right? Anyway, it was a good feed but not in a rush to go back. Sort of recommend if you can put up with the lack of service from disinterested waiters.

Went as the reviews were great. Shame it didn't live up to the reviews for us. Food was brought out slow and some forgotten which was rectified.Sadly, the beef tasted off so we couldn't finish it. Went up for water and was asked to press the buzzer, proceeded to press the buzzer, no one came.. Waited 5 min, pressed the buzzer again, still no one came. Each time we asked, the person didn't understand - language barrier issues.We felt like other people who were able to speak the language had better & faster service. Also, I believe we were overpaid however the receipt was in chinese(?) so I was unable to dispute this. The pricing on the menu we estimated to have a total of $100 for us but they ended up charging $130.The only nice thing I could say was that they did help us in the beginning as we'd never been before. Two stars considering how everything went is being very generous..

Food is great, we ordered a split of the Soul Catching Spicy Soup and Oxtail + Tomato Soups. The soups were very tasty, the Soul Catching Spicy Soup was quite spicy, but didn't get overpowering throughout the meal.They also do smaller single serve bowls of soup, which we didn't try.The meats and vegetables are reasonably priced, but adds up rapidly if you get the better cuts or multiple serves.

This is a nice hotpot place without a long wait with a hungry stomach. Low key, but has some loyal customers, even with the competition with Haidilao.After many years of trading, the place is still welcoming and well maintained. The menu items did not have much to change, but they now have more choices to fit different appetite. E.g. one meter lamb platter is my favourite. Soup base also has many choices in size and combinations.Staff are very proactive, and the quality of the food is consistent across the years of trading. It is also a good place to have a generous meal with a friend and have a quiet conversation.One of the best in North Shore. Keep it up.

I have tried every hot pot place in Chatswood as my first experience elsewhere left me obsessed with hotpot!! I will start off with the soups are mediocre at best in comparison to other places. I ended up mixing 2 soups in my bowl to make 1 really good one but I feel like I shouldn’t have to do that. This place was extremely confusing for a person who didn’t understand any of the titles or majority of the menu as it was poorly translated and the whole situation left me uncomfortably confused as the staff were not friendly or helpful. When we asked questions, they would laugh at us but we couldn’t understand the menu. This was one of many hot pot visits and no other restaurant is this confusing. Our soups ended up burning and we just left it all because when we asked the staff why it happened or if there was a solution bc all the additions would come out tasting burnt, she laughed at us and just went and told multiple other staff and they all just laughed. There was also 1 staff member who would tell me off because she would think I was going to do something incorrect like she mixed the egg into the beef for us(which was very nice of her) but I was just trying to take a photo first(stupid reason I know!) but she also didn’t like that I picked up my chopsticks before the soups were boiling. I understand having to get the soups refilled but I just felt like they would get annoyed if I asked for anything. I feel like there was no communication about anything. We left very disappointed and will not be returning as there are cheaper and pricier options in Chatswood which are all WAYY better.
