Australia Post - Granville LPO

I find it ridiculous that a post office doesn't open on the weekends - people who work regular Monday to Friday jobs don't have time to arrive at your store by 5pm in the afternoon.What's the point of using this public service when it's unavailable to the general public...You can see that they placed a 'closed' sticker over their Saturday opening... What for?

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the repeated mishandling of my recent delivery by Australia Post. This is now the fourth time that my item has been needlessly taken to the post office instead of being delivered to my letterbox, despite its obvious ability to fit perfectly.To add insult to injury, no notification card was left in my letterbox, leaving me completely unaware of the delivery attempt until I checked the tracking number myself. This level of negligence and disregard for customer service is utterly unacceptable.It is important to note that, in an effort to avoid such incidents, I took proactive measures during this delivery. Specifically, I redirected the order to the parcel locker, as I am unable to travel to the post office during weekdays due to work commitments. Despite this clear instruction, the item was still taken to my home address and subsequently transferred to the post office.I had already lodged a formal complaint during the previous incident, which apparently led to a discussion with the driver involved. However, it is evident that no meaningful corrective actions were taken, as the same mistake has been repeated once again. This demonstrates a severe lack of professionalism and a failure to uphold the values and standards that I expect from a reputable organization such as Australia Post.As a paying customer, I deserve to receive the services I have paid for without unnecessary inconvenience and errors. I demand that immediate measures be implemented to rectify this ongoing issue. This should include comprehensive training and strict adherence to delivery protocols by your team members responsible for my address.

“Ridiculous...no delivery attempt made, no card left, no bell rang...just received message to collect the package myself...Ridiculous idea to have the place operate Mon-Frid 9-5 only? People need to take time off work to collect their things?”Glade I’m not the only one!!! Called complaint phone number but nothing they can do but kept send message and lecture me how I should not stop him while he was talking about how they can not help me to resolve this issues.And I used 2 days of my holiday to collect my parcels.

I've had a parcel that was posted to this office, that was then in transit to the next facility, to only end up in the same place... 2 times now according to the tracking number, are staff just passing the item around and scanning it? I've been waiting for this item since I bought it on the 30/1, and it hasn't moved...

This happens all the time. The postie working for this Granville branch is just too lazy. He never rings the bell for the delivery just straightaway takes the package to the post office for collection. I usually work on the weekdays so it's really hard for me to collect my parcel. There's been a lot of complaints about the postie but no action has been taken against him. I'll be taking this problem to the proper authorities. The postie just cares about his convinence not the job.

Literally the most incompetent people I’ve ever met considering they’ve been working in this post office for so long they have zero clue as to what’s going on and identity. She had a heart attack when I showed her my LEGIT SERVICE NSW ID that I have on the service NSW app and my brother had his name on the box and she kept saying it’s not him despite all his identification, receipt, email order for pick up. They speak to themselves right in front of your face in another language and make it as if they’re doing you a favor for simply doing their job and gets annoyed at the fact that THEY THEMSELVES don’t understand how to do this. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS BOTH FROM THESE WORKERS. I regret every time I miss the post man and see pick up letter stuck to my door with their LPO as the pick up location

Sadly no delivery attempts made at all. No card left means the delivery person didn’t even bother come to the address to check if they can find the address or not. Such a joke.

Maryme,Was very welcoming and gave great customer service. I'd go back there again.The Merrylands post office would have to be the worst I've walked into. The ladies there are very rude and obnoxious!!!!!!

I have been utilising Granville Post Office for my mail and parcel services since 2018. My experience with the Granville LPO has been very positive over the years and with every visit, I am made to feel welcome and receive quality service from the staff especially Pat and Maryme. I am satisfied with the service, waiting period, the staff skills and attitude. I would recommend this PO branch to all of my contacts. They are great people.

Appalling staff. They are rude, obnoxious, and extremely unhelpful. They may work for Australia Post but there is nothing Australian about the absolute contempt and apathy with which they treat their customers. I will now drive out of my way to find a better post office.
