Authorised 24 hour rest area 10 km west of Caiguna. Must be self-contained.Time and Cost: 24 hour time limit, free.Access: Easy access off the Eyre Highway.Facilities: Reasonably flat dirt parking areas with little shade. No facilities except bins. Good Telstra signal, no TV.Ambiance: Reasonably quiet, minimal road noise near the back.A basic roadside rest area to stop for the night before continuing along the Eyre Highway.

Great spot to free camp on the Nullabor, easy van access and plenty of space. Popular with many other vans but not crowded.

Maybe not the most exiting attraction but when you read about this and other blowholes that are all connected to this one, then the natural wonder of geology really does become more interesting. These holes breath". Hence the name blow holes. In high pressure weather conditions

This blowhole is just at the front on the left of the road as you drive into the track. It is a shame that people feel obligated to write their name on things...Even the blowhole.

The blow hole was a little disappointing. Just a hole in the ground. Even though it was windy, nothing happened. The campsite itself is good. Lots of room although the ground is a little rough to drive on.

Definitely an interesting hole in the ground but sadly the uneducated like to use it as a bin even though there was one only 4 meters away… it was sadly graffitied and the bin was nearly overflowing. The hole did stink from the rubbish. However it is a great place to find a campsite, if you drive further down the unpaved track you’ll come across a variety of nice campsites and it becomes so remote you cannot hear the trucks from the highway anymore. Lovely place to stay with privacy.
