Booloumba Creek Camping Area 3

We love visiting Kenilworth and camping at Booloumba Creek. Went last weekend and although it rained for most of the 2 nights and days we were there it still did not disappoint. Didn’t stop us from sitting round the fire roasting marshmallows in the evening.The river was so clear and inviting even the cold could not keep us out.Highly recommend a camping trip here. No showers but has flushing toilets. All sites have access to water. We were on site 7, by the river. Perfect!!!

Great place to get back to nature. Toilets in good condition. Just be mindful there are no showers. Shouldn't be an issue though as the creek is amazing. Very cheap sites too. Do recommend.

Amazing place to go to and very quiet. Water isn't freezing cold and there were lots of butterflies when I went

Absolutely stunning camping spot. The floods a couple of weeks back really filled up the creek. The crystal clear waters were the perfect place to unwind.

So peaceful and such a gorgeous spot to relax and the kids to play.

Mother nature in all her glory. The freshest, coldest water I have swam in.

Perfect, crystal clear, blue, pristine water. Very fresh, cold and refreshing! Can get very crowded on weekends and public holidays. 4wd access from Kenilworth to the North-East way with beautiful creek crossings. 2wd accessible from the west (but avoid if wet).Able to see the bottom even though it's quite deep. Big rope swing out into the main swimming hole. Would 100% recommend going, but on a weekday to have the place all to yourself!

Awesome camping spot!Toilets were a little dated but working order.Few mosquitoes so bring plenty of bug spray!Included is a few photos on the walk to the Gold mine. Beware we had to cross the creek to get to the Gold mine and other walking tracks. Make sure you have waterproof shoes

Great location. Camp sites of reasonable size. Only criticism is that you cannot park on the camp sites. This is a bummer for those of us with swags or tents set up under the car awning or access to fridge in the car etc.

A little bit off the beaten track but a lovely place to go for the day or camping or to take your campervan or caravan for a few days. We had a 4WD and crossed the two creeks without any problems. There are 4 different areas for each of the above. Rules are: what you take in with you, you take back out with you too, there are no rubbish bins. There are a few toilet blocks scattered throughout the areas, walking tracks and some great swimming holes in the creek nearby. Area 4 for caravans etc. has more open ground than the camping areas and quite a few fire pits. We saw a couple of goannas wandering around the creek so you would need to keep your food locked up and out of the way. Lovely spot.
