In front of the carpark is a cobble beach and by the path are grey shapes painted with red patterns (Wisanger basalt rusting). This is such a different view from what comes next that it merits it's own review and the visitors attention.Stokes Beach is hidden by a pile of collapsed giant limestone boulders. The path to the beach weaves through those boulders to rock pool with mirror smooth surface. Quite dramatic. I dare anyone with a camera not to take a snap of it.
