Having now experienced SOM Blinds firsthand, I fully appreciate why they‘ve received so many brilliant reviews. Ours was far from a straightforward installation, but rain or shine, Bernie and team stuck to the task with good humour, genuine care, and exceptional attention to detail. The motorised Markilux awning they installed is fabulous—our only regret is that we didn’t order it a decade ago! Given the interest the awning has created among our neighbours, we expect that funky van of SOM’s will become a regular visitor to our street for a long time to come.

Had Som Blinds supply and fit our blinds in 2019 and they have been trouble free. Recently another tradesman had to remove one temporarily while doing some unrelated work. Was unable to correctly refit the blind. Bernie showed up at my request (4 years later!) and refitted in properly in 5 minutes..as a goodwill gesture. How good is that!

We're so happy with our window furnishings from SOM blinds.they installed sheers, honeycombs and electrically operated rollers at our house and they all look fantastic. Their friendly team were really well informed and helpful with the design decision making and were very accommodating with the installation.

Your home is your castle. Som blinds will not only have the perfect window treatment for you, the staff and installation will be professional and your home will be respected. I would 100% recommend Som blinds. Their knowledge in the industry is second to none and their attention to detail is spot on. Our home is an architectural and needed window coverings to keep with the design intent, Som blinds delivered on every level. We had motorised blinds including external venetians, which has taken the house to another level.

Bernie came over to my house to make a fix to a blind that had met an unfortunate accident. He came and did a great job in five minutes, exactly as promised. Definitely worth seeking a quote from, based on my experience.

We used SOM Blinds 5 years ago when we renovated our home. Bernie was fantastic to deal with, the blinds are all custom fit and to a really high standard for quality. They still look great . We recently decided to get a motorised awning for our patio area outside and immediately thought of SOM Blinds for this. We couldn’t be happier with the end result, the awning looks really good, custom fit for the space perfectly. Customer service from the whole team is also worth noting as everyone is extremely pleasant to deal with. Highly recommend!
