Kempsey South Service Centre

Great spot to stop for food/coffee…..and to have the 10th toilet break for the kids.

Heaps of parking , 2 toilets and showers in truck drivers lounge they were good water pressure and clean enough. Also had washing machine available too. Got Maccas, subway , coffee club, Freddos pies ( closes early), got KFC 100 metre walk on other side. Few tight corners and curbs on exit of centre if got a oversize long load.

WHY ARE THE CARAVAN/TRAILER PARKING SPOTS FULL OF SINGLE VEHICLE CARS?!?!?! WHERE ARE THE SIGNS TELLING PEOPLE NOT TO DO THIS?! WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE?! One single vehicle left a spot as we drove away (only reason there was an empty spot in the photo, all full prior to this). Many empty single vehicle car spaces available, people too lazy to walk the extra 1 or 2 metres from the correct car spaces into the service centre. People towing need somewhere to stop and rest (stop, revive, survive people!) so that they aren't driving fatigued too, there is a very scary flow on effect when selfish single vehicle drivers park in the caravan/trailer car spaces, then the caravan/trailer drivers park in the truck parking, and there's nowhere for the truck drivers to park, and they legally have to take rest breaks after long days on the road!

Our favourite stop when driving on A1, use to be M1, great facilities with a Coffee Club and a Subway both cater for gluten free food.

Nice medium sized service station, that is relatively clean. On Telstra services, 2 bars of 4g is amiable, whilst wholesale Vodaphone are on H+ (basically 3.5g) and 3g, which isn't that great. Hopefully the merge with these networks will improve cell reception for Vodaphone users. Food selection is decent in the area, with Fredo Pies, Coffee Club, Red Rooster, Subway and Macdonalds available. Would recommend stopping for fredo pies, the crocodile pie is pretty good. Will be stopping here when heading south to NSW.

A solid well built service centre. Large petrol station with many pumps, lots of parking with a varied selection of restaurants

Nice big servo and a week deserved pit stop on the Pacific Highway, the food court has decent options...

Undecided what to say as sometimes you go in there is all good and other times it's just hard to find any help at all.Toilets seem to be falling apart in the Gents, alack of maintenance I think.WIFI and phone service is TERIBBLE, not good for a big service centre like that.

Decently tidy in the eating area, but the toilets could do with a re-do. The men’s toilet especially, since several urinals were broken
