Incredible venue, totally COVID safe! Dancenorth is a little family that welcomes you with open arms. Everybody is so friendly and the teaching staff are just wonderful. If you're thinking of taking up dance or trying out class - DO IT. You will not regret it. Dancenorth made my time in Townsville that much better. I felt like I found a gem of a community! Thank you thank you thank you!!!

Dancenorth is hub of creativity, innovation and warmth to make Townsville proud. The professional dance company are world renowned, making the most incredible pieces that bring people together. Just as importantly, their community engagement program is inclusive, welcoming and accessible. I'm participating in the 'Dance for Absolute Beginners' course and it's a true joy.

Do a lot of work with disabled people's groups, my son was in a show here recently (kinda lol, those who were there will know who I'm talking about).Love the vibes of the woman who runs the show there.
