Delicious food and friendly staff, reasonable prices, vegetarian and vegan options available however need some renovations.Tried the Tofu Curry Puffs didn't even get a chance to take a photo of them as they disappeared in a second.Tom Kha soup with vegetables and tofu was delicious, also tried the Cashew stir fry was very delicious too.5 minutes walk from the ferry terminal, city glider and street carparks available.I would definitely revisit this place and get the Tofu Curry Puff and Cashew stir Fry.

Delicious food, so much to choose from, have been here a few times and it's always so good. Chicken cashew nut is one of my favourites. Really reasonably priced. Very friendly welcoming staff.

Tried Ruan Thai again on Sunday 28th May to give it the benefit of the doubt but ended up walking out. We were waiting over an hour for just one dish to share and there were only 3 tables. taken with customers. Another customer asked about the delay on their meals. The staff should let you know when you're seated if there's a delay especially if over an hour.Unfortunately we won't be going back. - there are plenty of other fab Thai restaurants to visit.Last nights experience was worthy of much lower rating. Totally different experience. Waited an hour for Pad Thai and watery Yellow Chicken Curry - different chef to normal. Waiting staff forgot water, didn't advise a long wait for food. If it was my first visit I wouldn't bother going back.Excellent experience here. Felt like I was in Thailand (esp. with the heat!). Food was delicious and ridiculously cheap for the quality. What made it for me were the staff, the two FOH ladies were attentive, amazing and have great personalities so made our evening really special. Our first visit here but definitely will be back again and again and again! Obviously a popular place for takeaway too as heaps of people were picking up whilst we were there and sounded like they were regulars.

If you want to feel like you are in Thailand, then this place is as authentic as it gets. Open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner except Sunday lunch. The decor is simple, the kitchen is next to dining so you see the chefs at work. The food is always amazing and the service is wonderful. Highly recommend this hidden treat in Teneriffe.

This great little restaurant provides delicious food, and the staff are outstanding. There is very limited seating indoors and outdoors, therefore many people order takeaway. The staff consistently provide high quality food and service.

Love this little Thai place the food is standout quality - best massaman curry - we have zero left overs as everyone devours everything we order. Great atmosphere and staff. Highly recommend.

Good food, fair price, friendly staff. Great quality thai and loads of options on the menu. Ruean Phae Thai Restaurant is one of those rare stumble - across gems – a tiny authentic piece of Thailand found in a quaint old garage workshop in the midst of a trendy warehouse-filled Teneriffe street.

I think Thai cuisine always comes down to personal preference so I won’t say it’s the best or worst place around. It was fine but not my favourite in the neighbourhood, now having tried all of them (I think). My only comment is the portions were slightly smaller than most restaurants. The takeaway containers were probably only two thirds full. In the picture are the penang curry and cashew stir fry
