Great little bar, good atmosphere, but there was an acrid smell of smoke through the whole place. Can't hold that against them though!

What an awesome place to see a band or your fav old school singer.. so intimate, we loved that we got to mingle after the show. Alex Smith from Moving Pictures was amazing.. we can’t wait to go back to the Firefly!! Food was yum and staff were brilliant.

What a great place to see a band. Seems to be very well run and a touch of class to the area. A very good environment for catching up with friends on a weekend etc...

The Newmarket hotel hosted a night of drag bingo in the basement and it was a wild, wonderful time. As a vegan I had a great burger and everyone else said their meals were good too! Absolutely reccomend

A great live music venue in a cabaret style, with quite good, reasonably priced pizzas, served during performances. Stay away from the high priced minute cocktails, even during happy hour

Great Venu for music. We have been there a couple of times & had a good evening. Friendly staff who are happy to help. Good selection of food, beer & wine.

Old fashioned live music scene, easy tables & very cool toilets ( not that important but adds to the total package) , need more venues like this!

I recently went with a good friend of mine, to watch some awesome bands play at The Fyrefly Bar! The bands were 'Truck, Stonetrip & Venom on drums with friends (a tribute to Electric Mary's album Down to the Bone, 10 year anniversary!) A phenomenal night of rock music!!I was very impressed by the sound quality & ambience of the room in general, plenty of seating & tables, but with lots of room for those who like to dance & get more involved in the show! The staff were very friendly & drinks were reasonably priced! Probably the only drawback is the lack of parking availability in the area! So l suggest that you get to the venue early or take public transport/Uber, unless you don't mind possibly walking a couple of blocks to get there! But otherwise, a great band venue!!

Great atmosphere for comedy show tonight. Easy to see the stage with no obstructions and comfy seats. Would recommend.
