Journey Chinese

I have been having Mandarin lessons with Larita for over 6 months now and I have been loving it. Larita is very patient, flexible and has a lot of experience tutoring. I have been able to improve my Mandarin with only one lesson per week which I haven't been able to do with any other classes in the past. I'd recommend Journey Chinese to any anyone who's looking at learning Mandarin or wanting to improve their Mandarin at a higher level.

My boy girl twins have been tutored by Larita each week during term throughout year 7 and now year 8. Their final results for year 7, give you an indication of Larita’s ability and commitment to her students. They both received A+. You can imagine how thrilled we were as Larita and they put a lot of effort into their Mandarin, and we have no second languages in our household (in fact having my language genes is a disadvantage for my children). Larita’s manner is perfect As a tutor, she pushes them but is kind and has built a strong bond that means they look forward to their time with her each week. Larita has been teaching me Chinese for the past 6 months, I would not be at the level I’m at without her guidance. To learn Chinese requires an interactive, face to face aspect that textbooks and watching youtube videos can’t provide. Larita’s lesson plans are well prepared and specific to each individual’s level of proficiency. Larita utilises different types of activities in order to make each lesson fun and interactive. I would recommend anyone thinking of learning Chinese to definitely do it through Journey Chinese.

My daughters have been having Chinese lessons with Larita since 2 years ago. Larita has amazing skills to engage young children in learning. She has very personalised and structured (and fun and enjoyable) curriculum which teaches the children very practical language skills, and at the same time instilling good foundation for Chinese language through reading, writing, and sounding (pin yin). My daughters enjoy and always look forward to every lesson! We would highly recommend Journey Chinese!

I have been having lessons with Larita (Journey Chinese Teacher) for almost a year. I would highly recommend her tutoring for people wanting to learn Chinese. Your progress will speed up and you will develop a better Chinese accent. Larita herself is very committed, friendly and tailors lessons to each student's interests. She definitely doesn't view her teaching as a side gig, her teaching ability surpasses that of most school teachers. Though not often considered when looking for a Chinese teacher, Larita's english is superb which makes it much easier to understand the explanation of the complexities of Chinese.If you have been looking for a Chinese tutor I highly suggest give Journey Chinese a try.

I had been using an app to learn the basics of Mandarin but found there were gaps my knowledge the app just couldn't fill in. I did some searching on the net and the reviews for Journey Chinese were fantastic. I signed up with Larita and couldn't have asked for a better educator! The lessons are cleverly structured with enough flexibility to allow for any difficulties I faced as we progressed. Mandarin is a fun language and I would recommend Larita and Journey Chinese to anyone considering learning it.
