Quite disappointed. Hubby and I were wanting to hold our vow renewal at this establishment. Attempted to enquire and get some catering options and drinks costings to no avail. Very hard to get clear and concise correspondence. Decided it may be easier to deal with them in person. Arranged a time to attend the venue and meet with the owners to get some more information, try the food and book in our date. Once we arrived there was greeted with a closed restaurant that looked like it hadn't been maintained in months and a sign on the door asking to contact the landlord. Decided it wasn't worth the risk and didn't go ahead with the booking. They could have at least contacted me to let me know so I didn't drive out there for nothing!!

Been there for dinner tonight, staff were good, food was fantastic. Really loved the seafood pasta and cheese souffle!!

I like to support our local businesses but I really cant give them more than a 2.We arrived with someone on a walking stick, no lift he had to make his slowly up the at a guess 20 or more steep stairs. I was concerned he would fall all the way upThe staff were very friendly, smiling and no question a problemThe view is amazingThe food how ever is really expensive and not really that greatIt took a really long time in between coursesI had blue eye , which is my favourite fish, it came out over cooked and very dry with no sauce. It was really hard to choke downThe portions are small and that would be fine if the food was amazing. We were a table of 12 and no one said their meal was amazingWe ordered oysters for the table and they were quite expensive. When I asked where they were from, thinking it would be a local supplier for that price , they get them from a wholesaler according to the young waiter after he went to find out for me.I would happily pay top price fro a meal using local produce but I was disappointed in the whole dining experience

Fantastic! My partner and i had dinner and opted for the 3 course deal. The souffles were amazing, and the steaks were spot on. The staff were incredibly friendly, the chef even came out to make sure everything was to our liking. Cant wait to go back.

Wow one of the amazing restaurants i have been here. The place is amazing and the staffs are quite amazing friendly and the most important thing is their food. Steak was absolutely amazing perfectly balanced just what i wanted and the desserts i was not expecting such a good ending of my meal. Amazing would love to come again and i would suggest to have a special of the week with a surprising food . Thanks

An amazing change has occured at Altitude! I had previously poorly reviewed - but under the new management, I have deleted my 12 month old review... WOW... what an improvement.Altitude is the best dining experience anywhere in the region.The service (thanks Cassie and Sam) was attentive without being imposing, and the food devine! We ate three courses and every one of them was flawless - clear 10 out of 10's all round.Thank you for finally filling the quality gap for dining locally in the Lauderdale area!I should also mention, the view is lovely too, looking west across Ralphs Bay towards kunanyi/Mt Wellington.
