Very good facility, well maintained and managed. Pool attendants generally visible. Indoor pool well signed for usage although young children tend to occasionally wander into exercise/walking lane.Front counter staff very friendly and helpful. Change rooms/toilets appear satisfactory.

It was our first visit today. Parking was already packed at 9.30am. So be prepared to find on street parking further down the road. Affordable prices for entry. Staff were friendly. A few shaded benches, but we're already taken. Plenty of grass area to bring your own gazebo. We were able to take our own food in sandwiches, fruit, snacks from home. Called prior and was told food ok but no commercial food. Kids had loads of fun on the slides and big bucket that tips. A good family day out.

It’s a great pool, but too expensive. No annual passes means that for war veterans (or other people with disabilities) who need to use the pool for exercise and or therapy, it would cost approximately $1200 a year! That’s an outrageous price, especially for those who can least afford it.

My daughter, grandchild who is 21 months and I had a lovely few hours this morning at Sandgate pool, it cost $6 each to get in.We found a couple of plastic chairs in the shade even though it was quiet busy. There are quiet a few options available. One toddler pool, then another pool that suits primary age kids, but still has some toddler slides. There is a larger indoor pool also. You can purchase water and snacks from a vending machine. There are change facilities

Great facilities with an indoor heated pool plus an outdoor pool for kids and a third for swimming laps/training. The showers and areas are well kept. The new cafe out the front is a new benefit.

Such a great place to take our four year old son! Plenty of shade, lots of space, you can order from the cafe online and pick up from the window! Great day out, we will be back.

This is a great public pool. We have enjoyed the kids outdoor area with the slides for a long time and my Sons swimming assessment. The staff are lovely. My sons party was nice here, but there is competition for tables and chairs. A first in best dressed policy. We understand they don’t reserve spaces for parties, but on arrival to have to scavenge and improvise which was stressful. The grass ground was littered by some rubbish which was sad. Plastic, paper and lolly wrappers, that I cleaned up when we found a spot. I couldn’t unpack the car, because I was flying solo to set up. Had I of left our space would have been taken, chairs etc. My car was parked way down the road due to no parking near the facility as it is a very busy location. There’s no entrance down the back end of the pool. I recommend for a casual swim but not a party on weekends or holidays, unless you can get there at opening to secure a spot. Shade is limited in comparison to the capacity of people that come through and space required. Little park next door, café inside, and seaside situated.

Nice and right by the water. Pools are both really nice and fun kids slides for them but the indoor and only heated pool is a bit small in winter.

A great aquatic centre, especially for 2-13yo. Great water play area and shallow cold pool with slides the kids enjoy. But best of all, the indoor heated pool the babies love like a big bath.
