Limited parking on busy days, reasonably well maintained public/BBQ facilities. It's a beautiful location with great views

Very pretty. Looks of lookouts and trails.Good views. Great family environment. Toilets and facilities.Worth visiting and spending the day for picnics.

The place features a big and picturesque cross that commemorates the ANZAC soldiers. Sunny an red leaves during autumn, flowers blooming during spring, and snowy during winter. If standing at the cross, the surrounding trees can unveil some hideous structures (well played)!

Great place to visit, was busy during Anzac day, the traffic on the day was crazy as the locals celebrate autumn festival and parking was busy. The cafe nearby was awesome and the location was very scenic. Great place for picnics and trekking for able bodied visitors. Mount Macedon memorial cross deserves a visit as its close by for a day trip, no entry fees. Hanging rock is nearby but plan it separately.

Great spot with lots of visitors coming even when it is about to dusk. There is a also a view point in the middle when going towards memorial cross.

Beautiful day, beautiful sunset! What more can I say! Dog friendly (on leash) and large car park. Toilet facility available. Didn’t get to try out the cafe as it was closed. Plenty of picnic area too!

Quite a busy attraction but had a really nice view, I found it quite disrespectful that there were people letting their children jump and dance on the cross but other then that the air is fresh and when there's not a lot of people there it's quite peaceful. Recommend taking the trip!

Mount Macedon Memorial Cross
Short little walk to the Cross. You will pass by a viewpoint midway too but the view is alright. Not spectacular but not bad.Some information in the boards regarding the memorial at the beginning.Cafeteria and toilet are available. There are free public parking and some tables, chairs for picnic too.Its better in spring time or early autumn or at sunrise/sunset.Ok to come if you are in the area and have spare time to spend.
