High Church

What a gorgeous venue to mark a special celebration. Julie made organising our Christmas soiree easy as a Sunday morning! Our guests were impressed by the space and the convenient location, not far off from the rest of the night life the valley has to offer. We used the church, terrace and the gallery downstairs. Perfect for our afternoon gathering. Guests enjoyed cocktails and nibbles in the cool aircon of the church, wandering and mingling out on the terrace for an unforgettable afternoon. Bathrooms are beautifully styled and well kept.Highly recommend this space for corporate functions and intimate wedding. There are many beautiful sunsets to be observed out on the terrace.

Julz & Shane were so amazing to work with and made us feel comfortable and relaxed in the lead up and on the day. The venue itself was amazing and was the perfect space for our ceremony. Highly recommend getting married here!

Wow what can we say. We have just had the best day of our lives, Kellie, Julz, Shane and team were absolutely amazing. It was important to us to have a no fuss intimate wedding which really encompassed us as a couple and our family and friends. From the small details like making sure my entrance was grand and timed to a tee to the verse of our song to making sure we had a drink all night or checking in with various things and timings.Shane done an absolute stellar job of the minimal decorations we wanted and nailed our brief of complimenting the venue styling. Making sure we had crucial details like pictures of passed loved ones always on display.In January we were supposed to be wed on 8th Jan and 4 days out from the big day we unfortunately got covid but it was Kellie’s reaction and how she helped us reorganise for our new date to 5th March with no stress or drama. We can’t thank you enough!We hired the gallery for post ceremony drinks and antipasto and the feedback from the guests was great, they loved the modern luxe space and went from an old church feel to a modern bar at the Versace hotel! Then to re enter at night back to the high church it just made the atmosphere even better. The DJ and lighting just worked and acoustics with the cathedral ceilings made it feel grand.The food - wow beef brisket family feast was the winner and stand out dish by far. And the guests loved the wine and beer selection. There was more than enough to go around and we sure made a dent in the supplies.Thank you guys from the bottom of our hearts, we can see ourselves coming back to various event like valentines to reminisce and re live our day all over againEmma & Laszlo Varkovi xxxx

We had our beautiful wedding at High Church and it was fantastic! Andrew was incredibly organised and always available on email to help us, which was especially important as we live in London. The venue itself is beautiful and set the glamorous and fun atmosphere for our special day. Thank you! xx

No words will be able to describe how amazing High Church is. We had our wedding ceremony at High Church and would highly recommend. The venue is absolutely stunning, filled with natural light and of course the beautiful stain glass windows. Such a perfect location to say I do! Our wedding photos taken at High Church are beautiful.The team at High Church is also fantastic, they made the lead up to the wedding and our special day a dream. Emails were always responded to promptly and they always provided so much assistance. Julz is worth her weight in gold. She walked us through our rehearsal and was there on our special day helping and co-ordinating everything. I am actually not sure what I would have done without her as she ran us through things we hadn't even thought of and helped me with things I didn't even know I needed during the rehearsal and on the day. The day certainly wouldn't have run as smoothly as it did without her. She is so kind and calming, exactly who you want there on your wedding day!

The High Church was the perfect venue for us and everything went so smoothly for our wedding ceremony on Monday 13th May.My grandmother who requires a walker could also not speak highly enough of Andrew for helping and attending to her while she was there. She said he was so attentive with helping her up and down the lift, finding her a seat and getting her water if she needed throughout the ceremony.Our guests had nothing but positive things to say as well!Thank you Andrew for helping to make our special day one we won’t forget.Lyndall & Jordan

We had our wedding at High Church in September 2021. At the time COVID restrictions had kicked in once again and unfortunately half of our guests who live interstate could not attend. Nevertheless “the show must go” on and we still had the most wonderful day; the venue is sublime, so atmospheric and enchanting with its beautiful chandeliers and big stained glass window. The fact that you can have your wedding and reception there is a bonus, really fantastic and saves a lot of time and effort, which means your guests can just focus on having fun. The staff were amazing and went out their way to make our day special. The food was fantastic 5 star quality. I was thrilled with the flowers and the styling (which was done by the team at high church) and helped to create the wonderful ambience. I would thoroughly recommend this venue and it’s very good value too.

Andrew is very accommodating and prompt with queries. Very considerate to our requests. Church was out of a fairy tale! Food is great and affordable. Can't stress enough how grateful we are to this team for making our wedding memorable! ❤️

We had the best experience with High Church and Pure Catering! Julz wand the team were amazing and easy to deal with from the very start. We booked it in 2021 and it was no hassle all the way through to our wedding day. Food was 10000/10 and the guest all loved the venue and food. We will still talk about it for year's to come I think! Thanks for making it a great day!
