We visited Au Lac for lunch. They serve Vietnamese vegan cuisine. There is a good variety of side dishes, noodles, rice and more. We found one of the wraps pretty salty while the noodles were good and tasty. Serving size was generous and food was served promptly.

Au Lac is an excellent vegan restaurant. Don’t worry about the beef, chicken, fish or duck on the menu, it’s all soy and meat alternatives. The food is fresh, delicious and filling! My friends and I aren’t vegan yet we eat here regularly because it’s so good. The dinner banquets are excellent value. The restaurant itself is a fun venue and they really spoil you with the amount of food and good service.

Have heard a lot of good things about au lac and it didn’t disappoint.Lots of options of Vietnamese cuisine and it’s all soy based vegan meats! The ginger fish was so realistic. Even the desserts are all plant based loved it.Will be back soon!

Meal quality very poor & even worse given the price. service and price everything was equally bad. We had vegetarian fried rice was cold and inedible！all the food we ordered was tasteless and not worth the money. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Really good food overall. The eggplant and mushroom dumplings are the star for me. There are other included in the banquet, but these are the best. The cold roll is alright. The spring roll however is the most bland. It's quite a decent amount of food for the price so definitely won't leave you hungry.

Amazing spot for vegetarian food in Canberra! You'll never believe it's not beef/chicken/fish. Tried the ginger fish and it was delicious and flavourful, with crunchy fired tofu on the outside and seaweed wrapped fish" inside. The berry brown rice was subtly sweet and fragrant

Firstly everything is vegan here if you’re checking.Meats are made of tofu or vegetables and taste very close to the real deal. Even the Vietnamese fish sauce is vegan & also no eggs either! Everything on the menu is delicious, fragrant and salivating vegan food.Best vegan restaurant in Canberra with a taste of Vietnam’s and other asian cuisines.Soft shell crab & Noodles are really tasty and I highly recommend it. Also the drinks are great too & you’ve got to try them. There’s a rule that staff can not bring any outside food into the restaurant to keep the food to be purebreds. Enjoy this little gem of a restaurant

This is a vegan Vietnamese restaurant, which seems to be a family-run business. Their menu is large and it is fun to choose from a variety of dishes.The taste was ok, but also not extraordinary. To be honest, for the name royal" I would have expected something more refined.Prices were rather high
