Fabulous. Unexpected find with amazing collection of few hundred of various weapons. Definitely worth the $10 entry price if you enjoy weapons and history

Be sure to be a gun fan if you're coming here. I felt it was years of gun evolution spread across every wall. The initial part of the museum has some interesting fact boards before moving into the room of firearms. It's a nice place to swing by and pop in, and I love that the volunteers are passionate about the place.Looking forward to the factory out the back becoming part of the self guided tour, we received an escort as it's still unsafe to be roaming around and there's a lot of history here

It is very interesting and worth the visit next time anyone is in Lithgow. Many displays to look at and read about. I'm not interested in guns at all but found this place fascinating and really enjoyed the history. The volunteers that run the museum are friendly and knowledgeable. A must visit.

We are locals and love taking family and friends to the old factory. The people there are very helpful and take the time to tell you about the items they have on display. I know guns are not every ones choice but the history behind the small arms factory and the different things that they made are very interesting

This well appointed museum has a well presented story of the history of the site. The museum houses one of the largest collections of firearms and handguns. The large machine shop was undergoing extensive restoration at the time of our visit. I am excited to come back to see the work the museum is doing

This museum is only on 1% of the size of the full facility. The craftsmanship and attention to detail this place had is displayed through the exhibits and leaves you in absolute awe at the quality, quantity and differentness of all the things produced during its time. From sewing machines through to machine guns.Highly recommend at least an hour. Talk to the staff too, they are up for some yarns.
