A relaxing place. A good place to go for the weekend with the children. They also have a nearby playground!

It looks like a standard bunch of rocks here, but the area is host to an extensive range of Port Phillip Bay's marine and coastal life. Its also part of a 5 km foreshore walk, there's lots to see and do at any time of year, including walking, cycling, bird watching, picnicking, swimming and snorkelling.

Just south of the sanctuary you can find a tranquil, sheltered little cove with a small beach which is great for paddling with younger children. There are lots of rocks and tide pools for spotting crabs, small fish etc.

warm + clear water, not too deep and saw some stingrays. 10/10 recc for easy snorkelling near the city.how to get there:google maps has all the reviews on 'Jawbone Flora and Fauna Reserve', but the actual snorkel site is here. park near williamstown beach and walk ~10 mins to this cove for snorkelling.
