Bought a bamboo cutting board from the shop ($59.99). After use for few weeks I find a little crack from the middle of the board on the seam. It is obvious the splicing work is not done properly. I went to the shop with the board but the response I got is: our board will never have this kind of problem, it is your misuse caused the problem. Also the shop assistant told me she has no authority to either exchange or refund, if I want to do anything I must go to their website email the head office.I am totally astonished with this kind of the treatment. House is a importer wholesale and retail three in one group, but their customer service is so terrible. I will never go back to buy anything from this group and certainly not suggest you to do so.

False price advertising and bad customer service. I went into the Eastgardens store today and purchased an item that had a sale price of $72 and take an extra 20% off the sale price. I bought 4 items from the store and 3 of the 4 items scanned with the extra 20% off the sale price and 1 item did not. When I questioned the staff member why all the items I bought had the extra 20% off and not this particular one, she came up with every excuse under the sun as to why it wasn’t an extra 20% off. Sorry but if you are advertising 20% off the sale price of everything, I should have received the 20% off this item. What they are doing is illegal and I will be taking the matter further to ensure that this does not happen again. Very dodgy company which I will never shop from again!!!!!!

House Eastgardens has shown exceptional customer service when it comes to special customer needs myself.As I have been a customer at your store. I’m always impressed with you team. Everytime I come to that store they try to help you through any situation and continually do it with a great attitude. On Saturday, I think his name is Braden-. I was walking into the store and he was with a customer and he acknowledged me and I heard him say “ I’ll be with you as soon as i can”I was so pleased to hear that, I have never got that experience at all in so long. He makes you feel welcome, he spent quality time with me I felt like a valued customer. His very polite and professional and takes pride in what he enjoys. You have an amazing asset for your company.

I’ve purchased a Frypan on line which was on sale to pick it up from the Eastgardens store. The next day I’ve got a call from the store manager and I was told to contact Customer Services. The Customer Services representative told me that it would be delivered to my home address. After 3 days I was contacted by the store manager, who informed me that the order has been cancelled and if I want the Frypan, then I would have to re-order it and pay the new price.DON’T BUY from the House store, Customer Service is terrible, and the store manager is not helpful at all.

Do not enter this store if you want customer service. Website states open until 5:30pm on Tuesdays. I arrive before 5pm knowing exactly what I need to purchase. The guy in store, says “we are closed & don’t need to update our website ‘cause of covid”, fine…”you can have 2 minutes”….so rude, awful agressive attitude. After selecting a $299 set, he called me Miss Grinch!!! I shall never recommend or shop there again.

I witnessed the rudest customer service there today that I have ever seen anywhere. The representative was belittling a customer in front of me for not being able to do something regarding technology. When she respectfully left he turned around and said to me, seriously doesn’t anyone Understand technology and continued to complain about her during my transaction. I’m really shocked that he has a job in customer service.

Would give 0 if I could. Absolutely disgraceful manager. Will definitely not be coming back to your store. All I can say is, when customers ask you for advice on a product, no need to give them attitude and cut them off while talking.I work in customer relations and your actions are a disgrace to your company. On looking customers were shocked with your actions.HR would need to look at your training with customers interactions.

I bought this product 5 weeks ago, a month later it arrived.During that time I could not get into contact with the support team for more than a week and a half.Phones disconnect after being placed on hold for 5 minutes and the call back system clearly doesnt work as I'm still waiting for the call back, I had to email several different emails I found online including physical stores and still didn't get a response.Just as i was contacting the ACCC to seek legal advise on what action to take I tried one last time to ring the support number and I got through, it took another 3 days to hear back, promises of a tracking number for the item that wasn't delivered did not arrive, it was another 2 emails later that i finally got tracking information and it took an additional 2 weeks to arrive, and when it did, the box that was (a very late gift for my wife) arrived damaged and dirty.I am so unsatisfied with House as a business, the products i received being in bad condition and just overall frustrated.Don't buy from here guys. I wouldn't want anyone to experience the sheer frustration I endured.
