Beware conditions of return. No store credit past 14 days for change of mind, despite being unopened and bought just over a couple of weeks ago (receipt provided). Was offered that we could exchange item only today. Not as consumer friendly as other more successful stores.

Buyer beware! Items are not exchanged or money refunded if packaging is not intact! I purchased the wrong item and was unable to get an exchange because the box that it was contained in

These knives aren't Japanese or German, they're Chinese knives. They're advertised as Japanese and German to deceive you. Also their sale is a never ending marketing scheme to manipulate prospective buyers. It should be illegal. In fact consumer affairs did go after a few businesses doing this some years back. We should all report House" for misleading consumers."

Walked into a House store and prepared to purchase a few items and was told that they don’t accept cash, I asked since when, as it is legal tender in Australia. Apparently since the third lockdown in Melbourne, I left my items and walked out, I will not shop in any store that refuses legal tender.

BUYER BEWAREThis store is full of cheap chinese rubbish masquerading as high quality Japanese and German brands. Very dishonest and manipulative marketing strategies deployed throughout the store and packaging. Furthermore they put those products on an endless sale" to add some complexcity to the deception - leading you to beleive you're getting something discounted worth nearly as much as well known quality brands. The RRP is a con! Completely made up
