I recently took my van here for a service and pink slip. I was called at lunch time to be told my vehicle was in very bad shape with the repairs totalling nearly $7000. My partner and I went in later that afternoon to be told that the van is close to defect and that driving it would be a danger to not only ourselves but all the other people on the road and that they are not in the business of killing people". I was absolutely terrified to drive it home and proceeded to catch the train to work for the next fortnight whilst we waited for a second opinion. The next mechanic told us it was totally roadworthy and a few minor issues needed to be resolved i.e brake pads. Still worried and scared I took it for a 3rd opinion to be certain. I was again told there were minor issues. The van is now re-registered and completely repaired for the total of $1000. The lovely mechanic who fixed it told us he doesn't know how people like this sleep at night

I always make sure I support local business if I can. Had a minor problem with an small accident which I needed fixed. I hadn't used Cannons for the years when the car was new and under warranty. Hoping Cannons could help me out they obligingly found time in their heavy schedule. No cost. This shows they are a local business who goes the extra mile forus local people! Professional, on time and a good price, highly recommend

For someone who has a fear of driving, the Cannon crew have looked after me time and time again. They have -- literally / mentally -- saved my life.Many times I've gone there on the verge of tears then afterwards walked away happy and confident, feeling secure in the fact that I was thoroughly looked after.Their expertise, knowledge and skills are second to none. You can always count on a friendly greeting when you get there, and Peter's patience is very reasurring. He doesn't talk down to anyone, and goes out of his way to provide the best service for the best price.With the added bonus of an available courtesy car, I must say I hope I never move out of the area because I'll never find stellar service like this anywhere else.

I had my intake manifold clean done got car back and had a fault car would go in limp mode took it back multiple times they couldn't fault it ended up paying almost $800 at other places and got the problem fixed asked for compensation and was denied went to fair trading they spoke to cannon and they said it wasn't them and that I drove the car for 8 days with the fault when I came in the next working day and that I had replaced parts to try fix my car because cannon could not it turned out to be the steering angle sensor that was not reset I was going to take them to tribunal but if they want to be shady they can keep the money that I should not had to fork out do not use cannon automotive yes they looked at my car with no charge but to say that it was a traction control mod that was installed and send invoices saying it was they should not be trading do not use cannon automotive

Honest people, they look after their customers well. I have referred ladies there from my work at a nearby petrol station, who have come back to thank me, because they didn't get ripped off, and their cars were properly fixed.

They told me I needed a new engine which was gonna cost me $4500 and took it to another place where it only needed coils and plugs

Been going here the past couple of years, ever since moving to the area. Never had any reason to go anywhere else. Peter recently went above and beyond to fix our car on a Sunday, after something went wrong after a service. So even if something does go wrong you are in good hands. Never had any other problems (that was a once-off for us). Good communication (available on Facebook on a weekend). They are up front about costs, and upcoming services. And can tell you about the work they did on your car and why. Highly recommended.

Highly recomend. I have been a customer for a little over a year now and get both my vehicles serviced there. Staff are friendly and knowledgable, i wish i found them sooner.
