Kowloon Cafe 866

Definitely the best HK-style café I’ve been to in the area! Limited seating and usually has a queue, which is only a testament to its popularity. Would recommend for a taste of Hong Kong!

The decor is stylish and modern with clean lines and tasteful furnishings and there's plenty of space for both big groups and intimate dates. The food at Kowloon Cafe 866 is excellent. Whether you're in the mood for a classic dim sum breakfast a tasty lunch of roast meat and noodles or a few delicious small plates to share with friends you're sure to find something to your liking. Everything is freshly made with quality ingredients and the flavors are spot on. But perhaps the best thing about Kowloon Cafe 866 is how busy and popular it is with locals. This is a testament to the quality of the food and the service. Even though it can get quite busy the staff are always friendly and attentive and the wait time is never too long. highly recommend Kowloon Cafe 866 to anyone in the Box Hill area looking for a great meal in a welcoming setting.

The garlic pork chop rice was good with generous amount of pork and the rice tastes fresh, unlike some places that the rice tastes like leftover stale rice. The ice milk tea was also nice. It would be better if they have more meal combos. The cafe is pretty small, so do expect a queue during rush hours.

pineapple bread with big chunk piece of butter but there is no pineapple actually.

Best Hong Kong char chan teng in Melbourne! Their baked cheese rice is absolutely superb - you can order any sauces such as ketchup, Portuguese, curry or garlic and pair that with pork or chicken chop on a bed of fried rice. You will not be disappointed. They also have all the hk classics like macaroni soup, polo bun, french toast, curry fish balls and milk tea to complete your meal. Only negative is it their limited seating capacity so there is often a queue and wait.Got my orders wrong a few times. Even after confirming my order for chicken cutlet they still serve me diced chicken. So disappointing.

Everyone need to try steak with black pepper sauce and salted pepper chicken wings. they’re so yummy. The milk tea is smooth and not strong ❤️❤️❤️

Great HK style cafe in the Eastern suburbs. Good food, good drinks. Love their set menu , good value for money.Usually a queue here on weekends. The wait isn't too bad as people don't tend to stay too long .

Nice food with reasonable price, just a little of wait time but bearable. Attentive service and food serve in time.
